This is my second attempt to Macro Mondays week theme which is "Pattern in Nature".
I realized that this pattern is not so obvious and have a lot of variations, but it looks so rich in color and textures and sometimes reminds a painting.

Inside the Mezquita-Cathedral of Cordoba, Andalusia, Spain. This is a majestic building from the inside more than outside, photos don't quite do it justice.
Inside Bynack Lodge, an old and long abandoned hunting lodge in the Mar Estate in the Scottish Highlands near the head of the Bynack Burn. The old window and what was the central fireplace, look out to the Cairngorm Mountains beyond.

Basilica of the Macarena - this temple was built in 1940 and is one of the most beautiful buildings of the city. In it inside located the famous statue of Our Lady of Hope of 17th century - the patron saint of bullfighters, called La Macarena. On her weeping face are tears of diamonds.

Barrage Vauban in Strasbourg is a fabulous mixture of covered bridge, defence system and dam for Strasbourg's water systems fed by the river Ill. Nowadays one can walk through and admire wonderful sculptures which originally decorated Palais Rohan. Each lateral chamber within this bridge contains a great selection of those sculptures and it is a real pleasure to wander about and discover these stored away pieces of historic art.
