The truly amazing thing about the past years on Flikr

...and I've been so lucky to get to know some of them through my pictures and theirs

The spiral staircase built by Giuseppe Momo is also called the Momo Staircase or the Snail Staircase. It is made out of two wrought iron stairways, with one going up and one going down. It’s formatted in the curve of a double helix, which wasn’t Momo’s original intention. It just so happened that years later, the helix would become a recognizable symbol of life.
This is probably my most favourite tunnel in London (sad I know). But it looks so futuristic and cool. I know that is been photographed loads of times, but I felt that I needed to pay tribute to it.

This was in the Dubai Mall. There were thousands of these on the ceiling. It was stunning. This is the largest mall in area in the world. There is a skating rink, a wonderful spot-TWG where we had afternoon tea. These malls have much more to offer than just shopping. I guess in the summer these places are a refuge.
