My inner spirit hungers

it passionately yearns for

that which might bring

peace to my immortal soul

Not pleasures of the flesh

instead the gifts so timeless

they transcend the earthly

limits of human history

A heart so giving it provides

an endless capacity to serve

in ways that help the world

and glorify God's name

A strength so near to Him

that it allows me to complete

my tasks and transforms all

triumphs into lasting victories

A need so universal that

through my life I shall

express a love for humanity

and all creation's gifts

My inner spirit hungers

and as I seek to nurture it

I pray I'm give that which

nourishes me best

Last night's homework party was the best :) So glad I got a lot done, it means less I have to do tonight and tomorrow!

Kate and I finally got our plans tacked down for the 30th, it took long enough hahahah It should be a lot of fun though, hopefully

"I am you, as you are me"

It won't make sense to you, but I sure as hell know what I am talking about. The inner workings of the mind are just so complex. There is so much we don't know, and so much we will never know.

It is hard to wrap your mind around

This is Xavier's Inner Angel. He is Cloud. Some may not know this but I gave Xavier the nickname, Cloud, after he gave me the nickname Star. He was so kind and nice and.. different. I was happy when I was given this nickname. I knew I had to return the favor. I gazed at the stars outside in the beautiful night's sky. When I saw the stars sparkling I smiled nearly to the point of crying, feeling as if they were now sparkling for me, as if I was one of them. I felt beautiful. I felt important.. I never felt that way before. I wanted him to have a name that represented something important, something beautiful, like the stars in the sky that he named me after but I still couldn't think of a nickname.

The next day, I went outside again and laid in the grass. The sky was so beautiful. Majestic even. I had never seen such a beautiful sight before.. The clouds were all a lovely color, covering the sky as if they were saying to me and all other living things that life was truely worth living. The clouds. The beautiful clouds. Xavier called me not to long afterward, like he did everyday. I had finally came up with a nickname. I was really nervous to tell him because I didn't know if he would like it. He told me that he loved it and I felt.. happy. There was warmth inside of me. He used his nickname almost everywhere he went and as did I. That's how it came to be.

Cloud is one of the nicest angels you could ever meet. A sweet soul who seems to care for others more than himself at times.

Cloud was always shown around me, I just could never understand why others couldn't see him.

See, the thing about Cloud is that he is very wise. He does things for a reason. He tells Amy not to talk to some of the people that she does. Amy could never understand why he didn't like her talking to them, but when Amy got hurt she realized why. Cloud told her again what to do and she finally listened. Amy couldn't be happier now.

Even though Cloud is very nice and wise, he has made mistakes. As does everyone else, but some aren't very forgiving of his mistakes. Amy, on the other hand, is very forgiving. I guess that why they have lasted so long together.

Cloud hides his smile from many, fearing that they will take it away. Gain his trust and you shall see the most beautiful smile ever. Even more beautiful than Amy's.

Yes, this angel has been thrown in the mud, but that's nothing that a little water won't fixed. Each day he is with Amy, his soul is being cleansed by the waters of time and the beauty of love. Wait and you will see the most beautiful angel that has ever existed..

I stumbled upon an amazing sculpture garden in New Jersey today. "Grounds for Sculpture" located in Hamilton New Jersey about an hour north of Philadelphia is well worth the visit (I'll probably be uploading photos for the next few weeks!)

The Inner Harbor is a historic seaport, tourist attraction, and iconic landmark of the City of Baltimore, Maryland. The name "Inner Harbor" is used not just for the water but for the surrounding area of the city, with approximate street boundaries of President Street to the east, Lombard Street to the north, Greene Street to the west, and Key Highway on the south. The harbor is within walking distance of Oriole Park at Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium and has a water taxi that connects the Inner Harbor to Fells Point, Canton, and Fort McHenry.

love exploring with abandoned places and had to take up the opportunity to shoot is my boyfriends dads new house before moving in as haven't been lived in for years. Another victorian dress again exploring self portraits

Pictures from Inner Mongolia

A moment before the 3rd photograph in this triptograph, I heard the distinctive flapping of geese wings. I raised my camera up and fired off a dozen quick shots of this Christmas scene in Victoria's inner harbour from the Songhees walkway.

I should have noted my shutter speed in the viewfinder was only 1/30th second. A quick switch to f/2.8 would have pushed my shutter speed fast enough to freeze these geese's motion. As it was, my slower shutter speed left them blurred, which I don't mind, as it does convey motion.

Shot on my Nikon D600 with my 50mm f/1.4D lens, f/3.5 for 1/30 second at ISO 500. I love the speed that this lens gives me, but it's noise is a little excessive for my tastes. I guess I've gotten spoiled shooting Nikon's expensive glass.

This place is amazing! An entire derelict/abandoned housing estate in London. There must be 2000+ apartments all empty.

I am determined to get back there sometime for another look around and get some more photos.
