Heaven 17 "Height Of The Fighting"
Acceptance is the first step to overcome denial. It's understandable to walk the world alone in the comfort of your inner storm. To some, it may appear lonely. Yet, to you, it is your sense of solitude.
The refreshing smell of nature that the wind brings with every rain. Doesn't matter if you are drenched. Doesn't matter if you can't see your path ahead clearly. Doesn't matter if even with an umbrella over your head, the rain still pours through. What matters is you can still take a moment to catch your breath.
The most favorable moment is when your inner storm becomes your most trusted companion. It is when you realize, you don't need anyone. Or at least, that's what you convince yourself repeatedly.
8 mantras for deep inner peace . . .
Thanks indeed everyone for your personal comments and also your support from selected groups.
Awards are encouraging and especially from those that add my work to their 'faves'.

From madness to calmness. I just did it. Creating a peaceful image of Buddha. I really enjoyed it too.
Well, my painting display will be held for two days along with other great artists in a IT head office in my city Bangalore. I am in constant touch with the lady who is helping me to display my paintings. I always feel I am a learner who can do wonders.
It feels good to get calls from her and her junior office colleagues to make sure that I am there at exactly 10 in the morning.
Because they know my morning starts when its afternoon. I am so moved by their gesture. They have lot of amazing great artist. Maybe I am lucky one. I never asked almighty to make me a million dollars rich. But im praying all day so that I can get up on Wednesday early morning. My early morning starts in the afternoon. Where I answer my good morning messages wishing them good afternoon. It’s my life. Can’t help it. My friends know me but still send me good morning messages. Hehe.
One thing humble me most is when the art dealers office guy whom I know very well requesting me to get up early morning on Wednesday. I will surely take it as a challenge.
I just posted an image titled Madness. I liked it. But not many people. They felt its outraging. It’s kind of evil. Including the lady who helps me in dealing with my art. So I just changed it. It’s very risky. I have to look at the painting many times and make sure where exactly I have to create an image of Buddha. And then collage the background. I just love playing with colors.
I am not so professional in creating portraits or anything. But I just love to play with colors. It just flows in my veins. And I try to create anything with my own imagination. And I am glad my friend loved it. From Madness to Calmness.
Well, since my exhibition of paintings is coming up, I won’t be able to comment or appreciate any of my friend’s flickr account for few days. After this exhibition I have to rush to my native. So tired & So sorry.

The sun came out, only for a few moments, and gave a inner glow to this rose. Made my day!

“When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”
~Kahlil Gibran
People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within. —RAMONA L. ANDERSON
Inner strength is the strong conviction that comes from within, when you believe in yourself. Your inner strength is expressed in forms of will power, positive attitude, belief, and confidence in yourself. It’s the positive image and assessment of yourself that makes you feel good, capable, and courageous.
-Harleena Singh-
Some day perhaps the inner light will shine forth from us, and then we'll need no other light ~Wolfgang Von Goethe
My silence
is not always silent.
My silence
is music ...
is life …
laugh …
dive into all this,
which gives wings to my soul.
Because the sounds of life
and the melody of love,
change to perceived colors
and draw an inner peace,
in the midst of the loud sounds
here my inner silence is born
in the midst of the light tones
and the colorful shades
of my life.

the city cast a shadow
from a fundament in grey
social standards race me higher
a serenade of dreams
I try to reach
a second hope seems to exist
now I've got to live with them forever
this is the sorrow that comforts me
dreams of torture hunt my sleep
I've never been so alone before
I've never been scared to dream until now
so I close my eyes
"Inside" - Pride and Fall
I can’t believe that I took this photo for 52Frames seven months ago! This year has been a blur.
Here’s the original text that went with this image:
Although I am not a Buddhist, Zen resonates with me. Since wabi-sabi is described as “the material representation of Zen Buddhism,” I loved thinking about and doing this assignment!
This is a dry oak leaf encased in ice. There is something so poetic about winter to me. We, and all living things, are most vulnerable in the winter. It’s a time of going inward. A time of contemplation. Sometimes, like for this leaf, it’s a time of death.
A lot of people complain about the colder months, but if you look closely (and are properly dressed for the cold), there’s beauty everywhere. As photographers, perhaps our greatest gift is to photograph things in a way that shows the true nature of something. It’s inner beauty. I hope that I’ve accomplished this here.
