Inner Engineering
Some of the most fascinating machines in the engineering world do their work inside the human body, taking pictures of cells, performing surgical procedures and more to keep us healthy. Work in a group to learn how these machines work and build a model machine that can pick up an object, direct light and more.

Mt. Kailash Inner Parikrama (Kora)
Mt. Kailash (6714m), Asia's most sacred mountain, is located in a high and isolated enclave of West Tibet . It is one of three pilgrimages sites in the area, known collectively as Kangri Tsosum. All are said to be at the heart of the ancient Shangshung kingdom, the supposed land of origin of the pre-Buddist Bonpos. Mt Kailash is their sould-mountain, which they also call Yungdrung Gu Tse, the Nine-story Swastika Mountain .
It is a 53-km pilgrim path around Mt. Kailash . It begins and ends at Darchen, a small settlement at the mountain south base and in the process visits four monasteries crosses the high Drolma La Pass (5636m). Three days is perhaps the minimum time required to walk leisurely around the mountain: spend two nights in or near Drira Phuk and Zutrul Phuk Monasteries. If conditions permit, try to stay four or five days, which would allow time for short trips to the inner regions of the area.
The Yin-Yang soup we had... The clear soup is with herbs and tasted like the fish-head beehoon's soup, while that looks like "ma-lat" tasted like those Maggie mee in my cup's soup.. hahha... But I like the clear soup very much...
June 16, 2017 - A visit to the Forbidden City or the Palace Museum (Gugong). Construction began in the Ming Dynasty in 1406 and was completed in 1420. The Forbidden City is now a museum and it opened to the public in 1949. In 1987 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For more information please do a search online. Beijing, China.
The snow doesn't stop people from visiting the Forbidden City. In fact it is actually a beautiful sight to be visiting during winter.
The inner lighthouse at St. Joseph, MI is 52' tall and is two stories. The outer lighthouse is not visible from this view as it is straight ahead of the inner lighthouse by a few feet. The catwalk goes almost the entire length of the pier and goes to both lighthouses. For those who don't know, catwalks in MI were built for the purpose of being able to access the lighthouses during bad weather, be it storms, snow or ice. From what I understand, MI snow in Winters some time ago was so high at times that the catwalks were the only way of getting to them. To the left is the channel between this pier with the lighthouses and another pier which has a range light at the end of it.
P. S. I believe this is the full size photo from which I made 2 cropped versions.

this is almost a self-portrait.
it's the abandoned house in my garden. during these months the special connection between me and that place became stronger. i feel it fully represents myself now.
we used to be loved, we used to be the middle of the world for someone else's life who abandoned us, now we're both useless. but although we might look like we're soon going to collapse, we don't give up, being stronger than our dusty appearence can show.
