"To any artist, worthy of the name, all in nature is beautiful, because his eyes, fearlessly accepting all exterior truth, read there, as in an open book, all the inner truth"
Auguste Rodin
"We take fat people from the inner cities, put them in big nappies, and then get them to throw each other out of a circle that we draw with chalk on the ground. Very cheap to make. Do it in a pub car park. If you don't do it, Sky will."
The rabbits on Inner Farne seem much more russet coloured than our native species, and very long in the body.
I was drawn to the geometry, light and tones of this building, and knew that it would make for a rather striking mono image. As usual, I like to contrast the starkness of the building against the more chaotic patterns of the clouds in the sky. Taken on my Samsung Note 4.
Our "Lady of Izamal" or the "Virgin of the Immaculate Conception", is venerated as the patron of the city and of the whole state of Yucatán. Continuing with a theme of a lone tree on a hill with the Sun setting behind, hint of light touching the tops of the grass.
Although I love colors, Black and White has always been my favorite. Colors can be too distracting.
Inspired by the BTS song, Inner Child
"Now I wish we would smile more
It will be okay, because today's me is doing fine
Yesterday's you, now it's all clear
I want to hug the many thorns in the budding rose
...
Tonight, if I reach my hand to yours
Can you hold that hand?
I'll become you
You just have to look at my galaxies
Be showered with all those stars
I'll give you my world
The lights illuminating your eyes, they're the me of now"

“In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being.
We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.”
~Albert Schweitzer

On the Waterline Road segment of the Inner Basin Trail.
The Inner Basin Trail ascends from Lockett Meadow into the caldera of the San Francisco Peaks, an extinct volcano and home of the tallest peaks in Arizona. The first 1.7 miles of the trail winds through the extensive aspen forest flanking the upper reaches of the Peaks, joining the Waterline Trail briefly before following a jeep road into the caldera. The trail starts at an elevation of 8665 feet, gaining approximately 1200 feet over 2 miles on its way into the Inner Basin. The trail continues another 2 miles, gaining an additional 600 feet or so to join up with the Weatherford Trail.

Avebury is one of Britain's most important prehistoric sites, renowned for the standing stones that punctuate the village and represent the remains of one of the largest Neolithic stone circles ever constructed.
The present village of Avebury was built partially within the old stone circle, which is itself surrounded by earthworks forming a vast circular ditch, a massive undertaking. Almost half the stones of the outer circle remain in some form, mostly on the western side closer to the heart of the village. The huge roughly hewn monoliths are impressive, not least for the effort that must have been required to transport them and erect them here in a standing position.
South of the main circle and village is the Avenue which extends outwards for some distance towards West Kennett. The Avenue is lined on both sides by more standing stones, many of which are missing and generally smaller than those in the circle, but it still makes for a dramatic approach to the site.
My first encounter with Avebury was through a spooky television series in the 1970s called 'Children of the Stones' which was filmed on location here. The memory of the eerie atmosphere of the mysterious stones had stayed with me ever since.

In Sydney's Inner West, both through CityRail suburban and intercity services were diverted to the Local Lines during weekend trackwork which in turn saw stopping trains substituted by buses. A Newcastle bound intercity train was seen passing typical terrace houses at Stanmore as it proceeded west along the Down Local Line.

I want to be the girl with that brilliant inner sparkle. The one who has Jesus Christ in her heart and lets Him shine through her. That's a New Year's resolution to live by!
For mortal muses today... "sparkling."
