On the right arm, you can see part of a purple chain (for Hyde, representing the hold he has over me), a blue spiral in the shape of an S (for Gabe, and for protecting me, Sor) and a red star (for Alis, being as she's the closest to the sort of person who would use that kind of star in sorcy!canon.)
On the left arm, you can see my vine (with orange flowers, because orange is my colour!) which ends wrapped around a black ankh drawn on the inner wrist. Ankhs are kinda one of my things.

Detail from the cartonnage inner coffin for the mummy of a woman called Isetirdis (Isisirdis), lady of the house, daughter of Tjaamunu. The texts on the coffin says that she was the daughter of a brewer and that she was married.
Inner bivalve coffin, representing the deceased. The lid has a broad collar, with superposed crossed red braces. Below this, a winged solar ram. Next register is a solar raptor with spread wings, beneath which are disposed the four Sons of Horus.

Take two more stitches, one each just a hair on either side of the first stitch in the V. Three stitches should be enough at that spot. Then continue on in the normal manner.
Now wait a minute. The inner lid is shiny on the protected inside surface, and appears lighter. A lighter color inside a lid does not guarantee a stein is old or original. But this is a good sign that it may be original.
The inner yoke, more or less carefully pinned to line up with the outer yoke.
If you aren't liking the way your inner yoke looks at this stage, consider cutting a new one from a contrast fabric. My one suggestion is to keep it on the straight-of-grain, not on the bias as we did for the outer yoke.
