Beyond the waves is the island of Inner Farne and its lighthhouse and Prior Castell's Tower (a pele (or peel) tower).
I don't care if it gets repetitive, I'm going to be uploading about 2358209 pictures just like this because I just really love them all, yeah...
Oh my, so many pieces. Background is space imagery, right side triangle is made up of moon imagery, the smaller left side triangle is made of mountain imagery, and white area leading to the shape are galaxies.

The weather is very nice here today (warm with a mild breeze). One more set to do and then it would be time to leave work for the day, Yea! I never do flower pictures so I'm not so good at them, but I kind of like this one... I hope you like it too.

Last week Jerry repaired these four items for me. When I researched the dressers I discovered they were made in the 1930's. The one on the left is 29" high, whoa that's big! I bought the dressers at The August Sale. Somewhere along time they have been spray painted white and the mirror on the left replaced. I wonder how they looked originally. They would have certainly had sweet decals. I would love to give them a more vintage look. Anyone have ideas on how to do that? What would your inner child put in the drawers? And where will Rita find a place to put them?
The little jewelry box I rescued as my daughter was getting rid of it. I imagine that a dolly was given the jewelry box by her grandmother. It is filled with her grandmother's treasures: a valentine from her husband, a bit of lace tatting, a hanky, a heart locket and......what would you put in it?
The cake was missing the dowel/stand which originally was either a cake riser or glow in the dark candles. Our friend turned the platform while Jerry drilled the holes and glued in the dowels. Now I need to paint it. What color would you paint it? The top layer of the cake opens , holding different icings and numbers to celebrate those special early child years.

I’m sure 4-year old Fabrício’s perception of the world is not as most of us would desire for our children, but it is possible to change that inner realm if we all make a little more effort to help him.
I for one would hate to see him back on the streets, a story I’ll share with you once I have my new group up and running.

The metaphor of the secret garden has been used many times to describe our inner space. It´s meant to remind us that there is always a fragrant and beautiful area inside us that remains in flower the whole year. This is a place where we can go to get inspiration, to have a rest or just to find our true selves. So, in theory, when we go inside we discover a peaceful landscape where we can calm down ourselves, where our inner dialogue become more gentler and our vision becomes softer and wiser
When outer life is chaotic we usually feel the urge to go inside to take refuge. However this doesn´t mean that we will be able to come across this sweet place. Indeed, many of us have found withered leaves, weeds choking the rosebushes, and impenetrable vegetation preventing the light to come in. We have found contradictory feelings, anger and obsession... Some things don’t always go as planned. That’s okay.
As the photographer-in-residence this year, I’ve been entrusted with creating one photo essay every month. Back in January I made a list of goals for the year—my mind was full of possibilities and new concepts to try out. Ultimately, my works-in-progress were put on hold, or scrapped altogether. There was something much bigger at hand. We’ve all had to push forward in new ways, accepting the circumstances and uncovering solutions.
My initial plans for this particular essay evolved over time. One idea was to employ aerial photography across multiple landscapes. Another was to utilize a clothing brand in an interesting way. Eventually these ideas fused together and picked up another spirit as well: discovery.
The result is multiple photo shoots at the beach, desert, and forests of Southern California, using bright primary colors from a clothing brand that originated as a children’s line, embracing the elements and exploring the space—both from the ground and the sky. This essay embraces childlike curiosities.
There were so many unexpected elements, and Sara welcomed them all. Bruises and scrapes, sand and wind, sunshine and rocks. I’m thankful we were able to use the outdoors as our backdrop. Not to mention that nature is so helpful for one’s mental health.
Given all the unforeseen circumstances lately, embrace the world and do the best you can. Don't hold on too tightly. And if you can make the time, relax on the sand, drink a cold beverage, talk to a bird, climb a tree, or dance on a mountain.
