Skuespilhuset which opened 2008 is the venue for dramatic theatre which along with The Copenhagen Opera House (2004 - housing the ballet and opera) are supplementing the Royal Danish Theatre (1874). The waterfront promenade which pivots around the playhouse are usually crowded on warm non-Covid days. The Royal Playhouse is designed by Lundgaard & Tranberg.
The harbour buses takes you up and down the inner Copenhagen harbour on a regular bus ticket. When the ferries are not too crowded, you can bring your bike along.

This view looks east over the world-famous Harbour Bridge into what I would call the inner harbour beyond.
Visible islands include Goat Island just beyond the bridge and in the far distance Cockatoo, Spectacle and Snapper Islands with the Parramatta river beyond them.
Beyond the left (southern) bridge piers can be seen the old container terminal and the Sydney Harbour Control Tower. They are now long-gone as part of the major Barangaroo redevelopment project which has gentrified that part of the harbour.
The unusual geography is the result of river valleys being flooded by a rise in sea levels between 18,000 and 6,000 years ago. Today nine rivers and over 100 creeks flow into the harbour basin.
Taken from aboard a floatplane - this was the furthest east that we went, although I saw other floatplanes flying much further to the east.
The main lighthouse for Wollongong Harbour is about 200 metres behind me, but today even the light marking the entrance to the Inner Harbour was witnessing some impressive waves.
I wasn't quite happy with my shot from last night, so I went back out tonight and tried again when it wasn't quite so dark and I wasn't quite so zoomed out. I think I like this one better. I cropped it in from the sides but only slightly to get rid of a few distracting features around the edges. I didn't touch the saturation at all -- these are the colors as they came out of my camera. Not bad. I probably shouldn't put my horizon right in the center of the frame like that, but oh well. I sort of like the symmetry effect.
