Inject RGB via empty teletext port. I added a 2PDT switch to allow switching between RGB via scart and s-video/composite inputs. You MUST disconnect the Y input to the Jungle chip to avoid getting a double image (see first attempt pictures). I tried everything possible to avoid this (ex. csync only, sending sync through composite and s-video ports, etc.). Blanking is activated by anything over ~0.7V so you need a pretty large resistor (I did 1.5k ohms) to keep from putting too much into your Jungle Chip. If you go over 2k ohms, you get weird static for the first five minutes of gameplay) Lastly, you should change the termination impedance from 100 ohms to 75 ohms. The other pictures on here are actually using the factory 100 ohms and I didn't notice a huge difference after I changed it to 75. The colors just looked a little purer/better contrast, but again, very slightly.
This is the last stereo slide in this series of photographs I made at the 2018 Goodguys Hotrod and Custom Car show in Des Moines, Iowa on June 29, 2018. The car in the picture is a Fad-T. While I find the sign taped to the car distracting, the car itself has interest, partially because of the cycle fenders, which are not usual unless mandated by state or local law. The injector stacks with air filters are great, and the rear tires really make the car stand out.
Converting an Album to a Slide Show on the Apple iPhone
1.Open the Goodguys 2018 Album. Hold the phone in the upright position, with the close button at the bottom.
2.Select the first picture in the album.
3.Tap the “Air Play” icon in the lower left corner.
4.Select the Slide Show “play arrow.“ The first time you do this, you will want to double tap the icon to set parameters for the slide show—i.e. music or not, etc. The type of slide show is “push” for best viewing as stereo pairs.
5.Rotate the phone to horizontal position and drop into Google Cardboard.
Above are directions for converting my album of stereo pairs into a slide show.
For some people, bringing the images into focus using Google Cardboard will be an issue. In those cases, I recommend using a regular VR headset. They are not expensive, and the ones I’ve seen and used have adjustable focus.

How to use:
1. Carburetor & linkage: with engine turned off, remove air filter & spray entire carburetor's outer surface, including rod & choke linkage. Leave for about 1 minute, then repeat spraying to rinse off all dirt, grease & deposit.
2. Automatic choke: with engine turned off, spray both ends of choke valve while opening & closing by hand. Spray vacuum cylinder to remove dirt & gums.
3. PCV valve: with engine turned off, remove PCV valve at the crankcase end, insert tip of can into the open end of the valve and spray while moving the valve. Start engine & repeat spraying to clean off all dirt.
4. Carburetor throat & throttle plate: with engine running, spray all inner parts of carburetor throat to remove adhered deposit/dirt within throttle plate area & other parts.
It is recommended to work out the cleaning process in an open and well ventilated area. Avoid contact with painted surfaces, rubber, plastics or car body. If contact occurs, immediately wipe with clean & dry cloth. During application, it is normal if the engine turns unstable and there’s white smoke coming out from the exhaust.

Oh... erm... New gear time.
I thought it was high time I treated myself to a new general riding jacket - claimed to be waterproof but we'll see. For really wet days I do have a very waterproof jacket, but that is also very hot to wear. So after much deliberating I went for this Proviz Nightrider (hence my favourite film quote ever, from Mad Max at the start of this ramble).
It fits very nicely, leaves room for layering up and most importantly for me, as I have Gibbonesque arms, the sleeves are good and long.
While I was feeling flirtatious with the plastic I thought I'd get some new overtrousers as well. A new outfit then but much needed, as my current red jacket is looking very mucky these days despite trips through the washing machine, and my overtrews... well... they're even worse.
The red jacket has always stood out nicely against green backgrounds in ride by shots, so I stuck with red.
Talking of Mad Max, or rather now Mad Max 2, set in a petrol scarce future, it just wouldn't be the same if all the marauders led by the Lord Humungous hummed around in Teslas and Renault flipping Zoes would it... Damn the future looks bleak...

Here is a view of the engine from the firewall side showing the fuel injectors that are between the valve cover and the intake manifold "riser". The "riser" is removed for clarity.
We just took delivery of a set of ID2000 injectors for Project DS9. These are destined to replace the existing Bosch Indy Blue 1600 cc injectors that were maxed out making 1000 whp.
The new Injector Dynamics ID2000 flows 2200cc/min at 3 bar (43.5psi). With the capability of running up to 130psi and flowing 3700cc/min, t...he needs for running multiple injectors per cylinder are gone on all but the most demanding methanol applications.

A Steam Injector. I found this hard to understand when I studied them in my thermodynamics lectures. I still do to some extent and suspect I need to just work through the maths to convince myself that it does work!
The Venturi effect is counter-intuitive. Pressure reduces in a constriction then increases again as the gap widens and the fluid slows down. This device speeds the steam up in a constriction and mixes it with water. It then widens the jet to slow it down and increase pressure - to above the pressure in the boiler! Now that is quite amazing, but also very counter-intuitive.
Maybe it's like using the steam to throw water at a wall. The steam condenses which also effects things.
