This was one of the most beautiful childhood photographs I did ever see, I actually can't remember where I took it.

Photo Manipulation is the art of transforming ordinary images into extraordinary visual experiences through digital editing techniques. This process goes beyond mere photo editing, allowing photographers, graphic designers, and artists to creatively alter and enhance images. Whether it's combining multiple photos into a seamless composition, retouching portraits to perfection, or creating surreal scenes that defy reality, photo manipulation offers endless possibilities. As technology continues to advance, the tools and techniques available for photo manipulation become more sophisticated, enabling even greater creativity and precision.

My attempt to emulate the Star Trek "transporter" effect using a GI Joe action figure for the subject. This is a recreation of a segment in an 8mm film composed of experimental special effects.

Okay so this is 2 days old, but I've been out late the past few nights and haven't really had the time to finish photoshopping or upload. I did take this on the correct day though.

So what sparked the inspiration was that day, (Wednesday) I was thinking about stuff and it just randomly hit me how scary it seems to grow up and get old and stuff.. so I figured I'd try photoshopping myself to look older lol.

My mom refers to flowers as "shining".

This is a series of treatments of a calla lily of hers that I shot back in the Summer. The original (not posted) was noise-ridden, so I ran it through one of the basic noise-reduction modes of Noiseware. The free "community edition" does a decent job, I think, leaving this smooth-toned subject rendered Quite smooth and yet sharp enough.

Pimped Picture 55a Removed colour cast from image then removed background and smoothed out the cut edges around the body to blend with the background so cut out visable then some burning in work to bring out shadow detail on the body then softened skin and cleaned up complexion also a little sharpening work done on the eyes and the stockings also enhanced body shape around the legs and arms to give a smoother more curvy appearance then hand drawn new background with floor area creating perspective to give a solid floor then added body shadows and additional lighting detail to give body the illusion of 3 dimensional belonging then added fill in flash to pull the eye into the models face then added several background marquee's to give shadow and depth to the image. This was done as part of flickr group Pimp My Pixels.

Storm Alberto left a few jewels in his wake. I added a background image from a transformed version of the main photo, for a little extra magic.

I followed the procedure, first, as outlined here: brilliantdays.com/archives/2005/10/how_to_create_a.php ,

I Am using the basic wondrous polar coordinates transformations as beautiful in and of themselves, but also as starting points for grounding them in their origins and/or creating new relationships for them.
