DSC_6637_134-edit: Experimenting with macro photography using my zoom lens. I don't have a set of tubes or a macro lens, so this is the best kind of thing I can get.
Cocktail --- 2 to 4cl Vodka, Sekt/Sparkling Wine or Champagne, 1 Shot of Grenadine, fill the Glas with Sprite, Icecubes

Finally an easy one, and I almost forgot!
Handheld and shot "on location" at the available light.
Cropped and added contrast, sharpness and a fancy frame in PicMonkey.
Just to show I havent totally lost control, here is the subject from yesterdays shots :)
Even I'm not stupid enough to use a real lens for an underwater shot.
I'm sure many already guessed, but for those that didn't it's a promotional mug put out by Canon, that I picked up from ebay recently. With just a quick glance, it is very easy to mistake it for the real thing and probably the closest I will ever come to owning one, unless my lotto numbers come up :)
For those that may be interested, shot against a white fun foam backdrop.
A pair of Neewer SF-01 mini slave flashes placed either side and shot through tracing paper difussers.
Above and behind, a Yongnuo YN460 set to 1/4 power and bounced off a white card to kill the shadows.
All fired with Blazzeo radio triggers.
With hindsight, I wish I had placed a black straw in it, as the white and pink one got a bit burnt out by the flashes.
Too busy at the moment to have another go, so this will have to do :)

I put an ice cube on my boyfriend's back and had him lay near a window. I thought the light coming from the window looked nice through the ice, and cast a nice shadow around it. I chose to put the ice on skin because I found that the goosebumps added an interesting texture and I like the idea of showing how an object affects its space.

A headstrong female Police Lt working with the mining on Mars is dispatched with her team to apprehend a dangerous criminal (Ice Cube) who turns out to be the least of their worries when Martian spirits are released who kill and take over the Humans bodies.
Just another excuse for lots of blood letting.
Brian S. Abresch, an electronics engineer at Goddard Space Flight Center at Wallops Island, Virginia, and Con Duer work on the small satellite IceCube’s UHF antenna to measure its transmission power pattern at Wallops Flight Facility. Small satellites such as IceCube are playing a larger role in research and technology demonstrations at NASA. IceCube will study ice clouds and space test a commercial receiver for NASA’s proposed Aerosol-Cloud-Ecosystems (ACE) mission. nasa.gov/cubesats
