About Ride Along

When a fast-talking guy joins his girlfriend’s brother—a hot-tempered cop—to patrol the streets of Atlanta, he gets entangled in the officer’s latest case. This macro thing has me looking at all things differently. Even the simplest everyday things seem fascinating to me now... like this icecube!
Today was grey and boring outside and I did not really get a chance to steal away to get an image. So I made one at home... ice cubes in a glass on a light table. 20/365.
Finnegan got a rubber ice cube/toy thingy for his Birthday. It was perfect for a hot day like today.

I have this week embarked upon a new eating regime, thanks to my newly-found nutritionist who I hope may be able to help me with a number of long-term health problems that I won't go into here. Anyway, no wheat, no dairy, no red meat, no salt, no sugar. That mostly sums it up. So you can imagine how happy I am :-/ and so you'll understand when I say that I am going to strange lengths to cheer myself up. This photo illustrates one of those. I have to have lemon juice in hot water at breakfast time (very cleansing for the liver apparently), and as squeezing a quarter of a lemon is both awkward and makes more washing up every day, I decided to freeze the lemon juice... and I figured that as my heart-shaped tray couldn't be used for little cakes while I'm on this, it might as well be used to make little lemony hearts to cheer my morning :-)
I Shot this photo a few months ago. This photo has some flaws that I need to work out but I like the placement of ice cubes. I like the use of 5 ice cubes. when I redo this I need to have a different bottle. maybe a water bottle. And I will have the base of the water bottle making a splash as it enters in the water like the ice cubes. I will also need to fix my water line so its straight. I need to get rid of the ghosting effect of some of the ice cubes. I also need to correct some of the color mistakes. I would like to see the bottle lit a little differently.
Yes, I'm not lucky. I got 2 monsters and 2 football players out of 5 packets I ordered. I'm happy, though. I'll get the rest some day.
