Kodak Eastman 5234
Shot Somewhere Between ISO 6 & ISO 12
Rodinal Stand Developed (1:100 for 60 mins)
Found by the rear loading dock of an abandoned Toy "R" Us.
I was experimenting with this Eastman 5234 film that I haven't shot before. Steve has who knows how many feet of it that he's been rolling into his little film canisters and he was willing to share.
ISO 6 should be a big advantage in the bright FL sun and it is, kind of. He warned me that it's a bit finicky if you don't get the metering spot on but it also has the potential to deliver some interesting effects. This first roll did end up being a bit hit or miss. I like it well enough though to shoot some more, so I'll run some through my Nikon F100 next and see how that works out.

My very first time trying to shoot the milky way. I am quiet happy with it! :)
Unfortunately the castle was spotted by some lights till 1am, so the milky way moved from the point over the castle right to the forest.
This is picture was stacked from 6 shoots via sequator.

A cloudy day for infrared film at McClellan Ranch Preserve in Cupertino. Northern California has good weather but tend to be a bit boring: cloudless blue skies. So I rushed out to take photos when the clouds are becoming more interesting.

Some Kodak 5302, 30 metres to be exact. DHL mistakenly shipped by sea route, so it took a month from Germany to get here, but I got a chocolate treat inside. Sweet stuff!
This is a very slow B&W film, ISO 6. I read I have to be careful after loading to a cassette, because even if the leader is exposed to light for too long, the light can like bleed up the leader and fog the film inside. Best to probably load onto a camera right away, or put the spooled roll inside a black or metal film canister, or wrap in tin foil until ready to use.
If anyone has experience developing this film, leave a comment, please. I will probably be using Rodinal, and try stand/semi-stand developing first.
I shot a test roll of my kodak kodalith through my olympus pen the other day, nothing other than to see what it would look like. It was ok, much as i expected but what amazed me was how much detail there was on those little negatives, look at the crop, its probably less than 25% of the neg and remember that this is half frame! Its actually quite usable in half decent light and has a bit of latitude, shoot it between iso6 and 25 and develop in rodinal 1+50 for 12 minutes, no point in using anything more exotic! Anyway it kind of surprised me:)
