The blue rock formations were inspired by an Aquazone MOC by Stefan Eeckman. When I saw how he reproduced the original box art from Aquazone sets using just blue brick, I knew I had to try it. I started with a small SNOT section on the left pillar. Then I realized SNOT really wasn’t necessary and made it more difficult to get that 1997 Aquazone feel. I started using large rock wall pieces to give it old school rock shape and stacked blue bricks on top. I had a bunch of ruby gems that I wanted to use somehow, so those became the red medium for macro Stingray helmet with LED on the right. The whole structure has technic and 1x16 bricks giving it strength so the long, unsupported section in the middle doesn’t bow. Creating the caves and little hidey holes for crabs and octopuses was especially fun!

I spotted this sitting in the parking lot waaaay out by itself. I had to go back and shoot a few pics.
The John Paul II mystique is alive and well in Cajamarca, where a statue of the waving pope occupies an entire vitrine in the Church of San Francisco.
I understand he and Ronald Regan are responsible for the fall of the Soviet Union.
I found this photo the other night while looking through some photos I took in Gallia County, Ohio, in the 1980s. I have no idea who owned this or what year it was. I don't know why it was parked in this particular spot. All I know is that it's a Ford Mustang II.
Dating from the 1920s, when the Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport FL was a luxury hotel, the campus fountains have been restored and are back in working order.

There are no words to express our absolute joy at seeing this first "not Anna's" hummingbird on our feeders today. This is a Rufous Hummingbird and the beginning of what we hope will be many species that grace our backyard this season. Let the migration begin!
