The Hassan II mosque is the second largest religious building (after the mosque in Mekka). 2/3 of it is built above the sea.
C-47 airplane captured over Italy in 1946 by my father with Leica screw-mount camera and 73mm Hektor lens. Printing it in my darkroom with substantially better chemicals and paper than were available then now produced a phenomenal print!

Remarks: HMCS Athabaskan (R79) was the second destroyer of the Royal Canadian Navy to bear the name Athabaskan, after the many tribes throughout western Canada that speak Athabaskan family languages. Its pennant was later changed to DDE219. Both this ship and the original Athabaskan were Tribal class destroyers and thus this one became known as Athabaskan II.
