The Hassan II mosque is the second largest religious building (after the mosque in Mekka). 2/3 of it is built above the sea.

C-47 airplane captured over Italy in 1946 by my father with Leica screw-mount camera and 73mm Hektor lens. Printing it in my darkroom with substantially better chemicals and paper than were available then now produced a phenomenal print!

Launched: May 4, 1946

Commissioned: January 20, 1948 Halifax, NS

Paid off: April 21, 1966

Disposal: Sold for scrap 1969

Fate: Broken up at La Spezia, Italy, in 1970

Remarks: HMCS Athabaskan (R79) was the second destroyer of the Royal Canadian Navy to bear the name Athabaskan, after the many tribes throughout western Canada that speak Athabaskan family languages. Its pennant was later changed to DDE219. Both this ship and the original Athabaskan were Tribal class destroyers and thus this one became known as Athabaskan II.

I took a few photos of my Epiphone Sheraton II to pass onto someone who is interested in swapping it for am Allparts and Warmoth Strat. After I sent them I decided to play around with the photos and this is the result.

A rare American sports car the Avantii II was made by the Avanti Motor Corporation. Production of the Avanti II models began in 1964 and continued until 1984.
