This was one of the competitors in the BRDC '60s GT Race at the Christie's International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1992. Shown in the programme of the event as Simon Draper's 1960 Aston Martin Zagato, but it was actually built in 1991. The original intention in 1960 was to build 23 of the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagatos and chassis numbers were set aside for them, but only 19 were actually completed. In 1991 Aston Martin approached Zagato with the suggestion that they should build four additional cars to the same specifications, except that they would have the 4,212cc engine instead of the original 3,670 unit. The four cars were given the unused chassis numbers 0192, 0196, 0197, and 0198 (Simon Draper's car being 0196) and they would be known as Sanction II models.

De lijn had de respectabele lengte van 62 kilometer. In 1974 bereed daarnaast een passagierstrein dagelijks het gehele traject. De PV kende op dat moment nog een drieklassensysteem. Op de foto de door Borsig in Berlijn gebouwde tenderloc 21 (1902) in Villablino.

Zeiss Ikon Contax II, mine is from 1937. some will say the Contax series was superior to the Leica's of the time, I suppose it just depends on your likes. I personally prefer the Leica camera as a shooter but the Contax for it's looks. The wider more accurate rangefinder is a plus but it seems heavier and more clunky. I don't know, shoot, they're both nice
I got mine (body) for under $50 as an "as is, parts camera". I gave it as much of a CLA as I could without taking the shutter mechanism apart. I also, thanks to the help of forum friends, discovered the reason for the RF patch being off at infinity. I cleaned the RF optics and gave it a good exterior cleaning. I used Kiwi shoe polish to make the leatherette pop!

Metropolis II is a very engaging art installation by Chris Burden currently installed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. From LACMA’s website:
Chris Burden's Metropolis II is an intense kinetic sculpture, modeled after a fast paced, frenetic modern city. Steel beams form an eclectic grid interwoven with an elaborate system of 18 roadways, including one six lane freeway, and HO scale train tracks. Miniature cars speed through the city at 240 scale miles per hour; every hour, the equivalent of approximately 100,000 cars circulate through the dense network of buildings. According to Burden, "The noise, the continuous flow of the trains, and the speeding toy cars produce in the viewer the stress of living in a dynamic, active and bustling 21st century city."
The woman in the installation sat there and corrected any fender benders between the 100,000 cars that are constantly careering around this piece. Amazingly she did not have to do very much, though she did look miserable... it was loud.

On the day of my stalking photo ops in the bars along Hennepin Avenue, this opportunity presented itself.
I couldn't decide on the mono or color, so I leave it to the Flickr folks. The light was wonderful that day and the tongue-in-groove walls looked lustrous in the sunlight, IMO as well as providing some nice highlights on the subject.
I have no idea what she was doing. I think she was playing on her phone.
I was a bit hesitant in putting this up thinking some may take offense that I was implying something about the character of the young woman. Nothing of the kind.
The way I took it was the woman was so engrossed that she couldn't be disturbed by some guy with a pick-up line. So, the "No Sale" sign seemed appropriate.
