The lead person/religious figure behind the Swedish Metal group "Ghost." I've been wanting to see them since I found out about them in 2017 as I love the theatrics and plot "schtick" (they play at being a very religious cult but think of all the versions of Papa Emeritus as a Satanic version of the Roman Catholic Pope).
I played around with the image as I took it in bright daylight which limited the illusion the cosplayer was going for. I mimicked an infrared filter (making everything monochromatic) and slightly masked out the infrared effect on Papa Emeritus II (you can see the deep, dark blues in his robe, the bluish-white of his make-up and religious symbols on the robe, and the green side sash (piping?). To add some "age" to the image, I placed a textured (old paper) graphic on top of the re-colored image, erased most of the paper texture but left it rough around the edges to emulate an old photo paper print and used Nik Software's Silver Efex on just the paper texture layer with a "hard light" blend mode.
Archaeologists define henges as earthworks consisting of a circular banked enclosure with an internal ditch. As often happens in archaeological terminology, this is a holdover from antiquarian usage, and Stonehenge is not truly a henge site as its bank is inside its ditch. Despite being contemporary with true Neolithic henges and stone circles, Stonehenge is in many ways atypical – for example, at over 7.3 metres (24 ft) tall, its extant trilithons supporting lintels held in place with mortise and tenon joints, make it unique.
A photo from a recent visit to th National Glass Centre at Sunderland. An exhibition by Magdalene Odundo called transition II. The installation is one thousand handmade glass large baubles that fill the room in a wave. Really worth a visit!

NASA : "art002e012028 (April 6, 2026) - The Artemis II crew captured a close-up snapshot of the near side of the Moon as NASA’s Orion spacecraft approached for the lunar flyby. The near side, characterized by the dark patches of ancient lava, is visible on the top third of the lunar disk. Aristarchus crater is the bright white dot in the midst of a dark grey lava flow at the top of the image".

They're amazing. They use a clever strategy: They keep under the flower. Whenever a bug comes over the flower, they jump over it. This spider seems to be having this little fly trapped to let it die before eating it...

MAGIC-II is one of the Major Atmospheric Gamma-ray Imaging Cherenkov twin telescopes located at the Observatorio Roque de Los Muchachos (ORM) on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands.
I was barely able to capture a time-lapse of the scope just before it's observing session ended during moonrise and daybreak. I had to crop a sizeable amount since the photo was taken from quite a distance. The instruments are extremely sensitive to any electronic disturbance. The green laser emitted from the William Herschel Telescope is reflected on the mirror assembly. Above the telescope the Andromeda galaxy can be seen as a faint smudge, while iridium flares can be seen below it and at far right.
I visited the island of La Palma (Canary Islands) to attend the "Astromaster" advanced landscape - astrophotography timelapse workshop. Please take the time to visit the links below:

This is the UMM Alter II, a Portuguese all terrain vehicle.
Portugal was never famous for its auto industry, this being one of the most successful ones.
They were produced from 1986 to mid-nineties, used Peugeot engines and many can still be found on our roads. This is the short soft top version.
About the model, it has doors and hood that open, engine, detailed interiors, steering and rear suspension.

Zeiss Ikon Contax II, mine is from 1937. some will say the Contax series was superior to the Leica's of the time, I suppose it just depends on your likes. I personally prefer the Leica camera as a shooter but the Contax for it's looks. The wider more accurate rangefinder is a plus but it seems heavier and more clunky. I don't know, shoot, they're both nice
I got mine (body) for under $50 as an "as is, parts camera". I gave it as much of a CLA as I could without taking the shutter mechanism apart. I also, thanks to the help of forum friends, discovered the reason for the RF patch being off at infinity. I cleaned the RF optics and gave it a good exterior cleaning. I used Kiwi shoe polish to make the leatherette pop!

What was initially just a quick recon visit to see how high tide impacts on Bulgo beach turned into a productive morning. I came away with a few keepers and also scouted out a location past the cave which revealed cliff tops to the south. Worth getting wet feet for anyway. :)
