Atop of Cinnamon Pass in southwestern Colorado. Took the pass from Lake City to Silverton - saw some amazing scenery along the way! Got to the top of the pass and was treated to an amazing sunset!

A veces solo queda ese afán de aferrarnos a las palabras sabias, a las lágrimas, a la esperanza.
Hoy me he reencontrado en unos ojos que creía perdidos, cuya mirada me reduce al tamaño del más diminuto guisante. Me ha cogido de la mano y se ha negado tres veces a soltarme, como si tratase con un Judas dispuesto a traicionarse a sí mismo.
Pero mírale a los ojos y dime, ¿no te recuerda a ese niño de acento argentino, que años atrás, se enamoró de tu sonrisa?

The Kamera-Werkstätten AG (KW) in Niederzedlitz outside Dresden launched in 1939 the 35mm SLR Praktiflex camera. This camera is the pattern for most of the 35 mm SLR cameras, even todays DSLRs. In 1947 an improved Praktiflex version was launched, often called the Praktiflex II, which is my camera. It is fitted with the Victar Anastigmat 1:2.9 F = 5 cm, which is not an impressive kind of lens.

A vintage 1655 Explorer II captured with a background image of a 216570, the current Explorer II. It is Rolex's homage/update to this classic.
Reference 1655 was first introduced in 1971 and produced until 1984. It is powered by the 26-jewel caliber 1575 movement.
The 1655 was not a popular watch model and fewer of them were made and sold than other Rolex sports models. This relative rarity and its now famous orange hand has made it a desirable collectors watch.
On its 40th anniversary in 2011, Rolex reintroduced the famous 'orange hand' to the line.

With my rediscovered interest in succulents and, in particular, photographing them, it was an obvious choice for me to pay the well-known Sukkulenten Sammlung (succulent collection) in Zurich a visit. It was actually high time for just that - I'd been hearing about it off and on for a few years already, but never managed to make it there. So on one fine Summer's day I packed up my 500C, extension rings and a handful of Fomapan 200 and set out to see what I could find.
Committed to Fomapan 200 using a Hasselblad 500C and 100 mm lens with a 56 mm extension ring. Developed using Ars-Imago R9 (rodinal) 1:25 as per the Massive Dev chart (though I think the listed times are too short and will be adding at least a minute to them in the future) and scanned with an Epson V850 using Silverfast. Positive conversion and contrast done with Negative Lab Pro. Dust cleaning, sharpening and final contrast in Photoshop.
