Uno de mis viaductos más queridos de la fantasmal lÃnea Baeza-Utiel, con 160 metros de curva, sus arcos a dos alturas con 9 ojos arriba y 3 abajo. 1932, el año de su construcción, orgullosamente esculpido en sus pilares junto al escudo de los ingenieros.
Entre 1992 y 1993, cuando después de seis décadas finalmente le arrancaron los raÃles a la vÃa, además de toda esperanza tiraron también por la borda las traviesas bibloque de hormigón.
One of my most beloved viaducts of the Baeza-Utiel ghost line, with 160 meters long in curve and its arches at two heights, 9 eyes above and 3 below. 1932, the year of construction, proudly sculpted on its pillars. When the rails were pulled from the track in the 90's, the concrete sleepers were threw overboard, and with them several decades of agony of a train that would never pass through there.
Another windy day down on the beach.
I'm ignoring the lighthouse for a change and exploring these pools further down the beach.
