A misty morning in Karlstad, Sweden. This is the second shot in the series from the Klarälven in the city centre of Karlstad
Bangkok’s tallest building at 1000 feet (304 m) from the distance. This tower has an open air, revolving roof deck from where there are superb panoramas of the city.

The " Zaanse Schans " is an area which reflects the Dutch entrepreneurship in the 18th and 19th centuries. Nowadays it is a touristic attraction ( that also brings in a lot of money).
Going forward I'll hopefully have a bit more time for taking and posting photos - famous last words!!! In the meantime another one from the archives and a reminder we are due some cold weather!

I got sunshine, on a cloudy day. Pillar Point Harbor, just north of Half Moon Bay, California. Strange lighting that day, but it worked.

It's just 10 years this evening since this was snapped up there in the Outer Hebrides. So apologies for the re-post but this one has done so well since I posted it on here in 2012 so thought I'd give it another airing.

The scarlet elf cup grows deep in the forest in the coldest months of the year. But elves must not be very large if we have ever seen this cup.

These are two panoramics from my hike to Mt. Major yesterday. It's a very popular hike in New Hampshire. In the background you can see lake Winnipesaukee, as well as multiple islands. It was almost too hot for hiking yesterday.
My apology that these are captured by my mobile phone and therefore not DSLR quality.
