I very rarely get out of my warm bed to shoot at sunrise. This is the second from such a very rare day. I think I will have to try hard to get up for some as this one of my best photographic experiences, on the edge of a steep rocky clif, with no one around for miles, watching the light arrive...

Same little butterfly as before, an Essex skipper I think because of the dark unhooked antennae tips. Happy to be corrected though :)

The last day of 2018... hard to grasp sometimes that only a few years back this reclaimed Maasvlakte harbour section still used to be the North Sea. This day I experimented with HDR a bit, which came in handy with the backlight situation in this scene.
