Hunting Island Lighthouse in Hunting Island State Park on Hunting Island South Carolina. It was re-built and first lit in 1875 and stands 136 Feet Tall. Originally built 1836 but destroyed in the Civil War.

I found this stinkbug nymph outside on a raspberry plant growing on the edge of my corncrib. He appears to be enjoying his feast.

We have a total of two trips organized to clean cartridges from the hunting fields on the mountains of Lebanon. An alternative solution for using a recycling machine that is specialized in cartridges is yet to be found.

There seemed to be crab and fish skeletons buried in the gloppy mud. The gulls were really working at digging them out (an eagle took over later!). Everyone was covered with mud.
