Ziegfeld Girls were beautiful chorus girls starring on Broadway in the theatrical productions known as the Ziegfeld Follies (1907-1931). These showgirls were the epitome of elegance and glamour as they sang and danced, all while adorned in elaborate costumes. For this theme, you may depict your doll(s) as either a vintage or modern day showgirl: Perhaps she is one of the famed Las Vegas showgirls of the 1950s or is a star at Paris' Folies Bergere. In 1819, Sir Thomas Raffles negotiated a treaty whereby Johor allowed the British to locate a trading port on the island. The Sultan of Johor is the sovereign ruler of the Malaysian state of Johor. It all was leading to the establishment of the British colony of Singapore in 1819. The port was strategically located along the main trade route between India and China. Singapore became an independent republic in 1965. Nowadays the country has become one of the world's most prosperous nations, with a highly developed free market economy and strong international trading links. Tourism in Singapore is a major industry and is the 5th most visited city in the world. Along with this, it also has one of the world's lowest crime rates. Public transport is easy when visiting Singapore. This includes the well-known Mass Rapid Transit system. MRT trains are fully automated without driver! Singapore is a green and clean city. It is also full of natural attractions and cultural heritage sites, from botanic gardens and nature parks to temples and museums. Chinatown is a small piece of China in the heart of Singapore. Once an enclave for Singapore’s Chinese immigrant population, the Chinatown of today is much-beloved for its blend of old and new, with historic temples and traditional medicinal halls sitting alongside hip new bars and lifestyle shops. You also can't miss the three monstrous towers of Marina Bay Sands which stand at the Marina Bay waterfront. Apart from the casino, the Marina Bay Sands also has a shopping mall, resorts, museums, theatres, an ice skating rink, and a Skydeck with an infinity pool.
Getting around Singapore by MRT (train) is simple. Singapore's public transport system is fast and efficient, and brings you to memorable attractions in no time. The United Overseas Bank Plaza is prominently situated along the shoreline of Downtown Core. The entrance with a sculpture by Salvador Dalí. It's the financial hub of Singapore overlooking the spectacular Marina Bay. It is linked via an aerial mall and an underpass to Raffles Place MRT station which is just a 5-minute walk away.

I got out on the AiPAS Ebike for a ride on the Third Creek Greenway. I got onto the Greenway by Tyson Park. I rode West and stopped by the Sequoyah Hills area. I turned around and rode back through Third Creek down to the Neyland Greenway. Then rode back to the Tyson Park area and headed back home. I stopped at Knox Walls at Emory Place on the way home.

This picture was shot on a tripod with three exposures (-2..0..+2..EV). I used Photomatix to create the HDR with tone mapping and detail enhanced. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask to increase color and contrast for the sky and Mount St. Helens. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Used Nik Sharpener Pro to sharpen image.
Today marks the 30th Anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State. The eruption on May 18, 1980, killed dozens of people and changed the landscape with its 24-megaton blast. And here it is, after its eruption almost** 30 years ago. This is one of the many views you can get from up on Oregon Health & Science University campus on Marquam Hill. This is another view panning my camera to the left zoomed in. Presented in full HDR!
**I shot this 10 days ago. I don't think I can see Mt. St. Helens today from here.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - Early in the morning a very active lightning storm passed by north of Peoria. An overlook on Grandview Drive was the perfect place to watch it approach. The overlook sits on a bluff 300 feet above the Illinois River. This is the part of the river where it widens and forms Peoria Lake. It was raining heavily with plenty of lightning bolts striking on the opposite side of the river. But from where I was it stayed dry enough to take over 400 pictures. Most of them are for a time lapse video, which I will upload soon.

Testing out the CPL when i first got it back in Autumn... Blue and yellow always out on a good show...
A polarizing filter, used for both color and black-and-white photography, is colourless and does not affect colour balance, but filters out light with a particular direction of polarisation. This reduces oblique reflections from non-metallic surfaces, can darken the sky in colour photography (in monochrome photography colour filters are more effective), and can saturate the image more by eliminating unwanted reflections.
For non-default body shapes, you may have to alpha out some body parts for the clothes to fit.

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020, making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality and historic core city of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, USA, at 16th and Broadway, near the Power & Light District, the T-Mobile Center and the Crossroads Arts District. Its construction was a major part of the ongoing redevelopment of downtown Kansas City.
The Center was created as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Unlike some other major civic construction projects, no taxpayer funds went into its construction. The City of Kansas City contributed to and operates a parking garage adjacent to the Kauffman Center.
It is the performance home to the Kansas City Symphony, the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and the Kansas City Ballet which in the past performed at the Lyric Theatre, eight blocks north of the center. The Kauffman Center houses two unique performance venues: Muriel Kauffman Theatre and Helzberg Hall.
According to its website, the Kauffman Center's mission is "to enrich the lives of communities throughout the region, country and world by offering extraordinary and diverse performing arts experiences". Not only do notable performances take place almost weekly, but the Center is a place where the KC community comes together and celebrates the city's rich arts culture.
