-40C with the wind chill. Hopefully we get out of this deep freeze soon. On the bright side, at least it's supposed to be sunny!
Started the weekend with an early morning trip to the mountains to buy flowers and succulents. Also, for good hot chocolate which was ideal for the cold, foggy morning. 🌲🌷🗻☁️
This time it's a vanilla based cupcake flavour with hot chocolate creme filling, hot chocolate buttercream (IMBC) topped with a homemade marshmallow. Big hit with the kids.
My younger son put together this evening cocoa for himself and really liked the result -- both how it looked and how it tasted.
He asked for a photo, and of course I was happy to oblige.

It was so cold today that Andrew asked for his duffle coat to wear, and both boys had hot chocolate when they came in from the garden

Being that part of the family are not able to have gluten - there were MANY arrays of goodies to munch on that were gluten free. Including the wedding cake!

Driving home from work drinking a Zebra HotChocolate. It was a good day. Went for a ride on the chopper, had a nice lunch and went to a birthday party with a bunch of screaming children. Didn't particularly like the screaming part. Also bought a 'chain mail' bracelet from some guys crafting them in the lobby at work. I was his first customer. How awesome. :)

Very rich, but don't expected a tongue-burning sensation from the chilis. It us a subtle pairing amongst the other spices in the mix.

Okay so I needed a good hot chocolate because the Cocoas didn't cut it. So, I found and combined three different chocolates... Then I made the marshmallows to go with it (or them.). Good thing it snowed again so I could drink several of these myself! Delicious And Cute to use. 💕

today was my flag race. and it went alright actually.
only had to guess a few names but the rest i had down.
so if i fail this one mayneee, ima be pissed.
anyway, i finished my lab early so i went on down to latrobe to see my lovely ladies.
when i was leaving my uni i walked into meena! so random, but so so good. we trammed it to latrobe together.
i was sooo hungry and hadnt eaten breakfast and was living on a budget after that stupid $100 so fatima shayda meena and i just went and got subway.
it was amazing. probably cos i was hungry. but it didn't over-fill me or under-fill! juuuust perfecto.
anyway so fatima had to go back to class. it was the first time i had seen her since reaching adulthood can u believe it! and shayda had to finish an essay so we went to the library.
(im skipping major details but ceebs)
so it ended up being shayda meena nadene, fatima , mohamad and i in the silent study level of the library talking like crazy cows!!
it was also the first time seeing these peeps since hols so there was major catching up needing to be done.
we got told off for being to loud by the sweet librarian. our cue to leave.
so once shayda was done with her essay, everyone ended up scattering till it was just meena and shayda and i.
we went and got hot chocolates together.
it was sweet.

Fab Sunday afternoon at Eden,Family Ice Skating session,hot chocolates,(and crepes!)..ice cream and a run around the gardens..(age 40 ..I've been challenging myself to face my fears finally...so it was my first time ever at ice skating too!)
