It was 20 degrees when I woke this AM - and I'm from the Southeast United States where we like our humidity and our unfrozen pipes.
I don't think I needed this much whipped cream, but who's worried about need this early in the month?
A lovely lunch with Annabel and Hugo, hastily arranged this morning to stop me having to spend the whole day with just Eli, which I fear would result in either insanity or destruction of one of us. The focus to the day was just what we needed, and amazingly Eli quite happily spent an hour in TK Maxx beforehand.

Schnookie hasn't made her traditional holiday homemade marshmallows yet, so we were forced to add storebought mini-marshmallows to our hot chocolate on Wednesday night.
Sorry I haven't been consistently posting lately. It's been a busy weekend and I didn't get to upload my pictures until tonight.
Snapped a quick picture on Friday night at a friend's house. We made some hot chocolate and I overflowed mine with marshmallows :) Yummy.

Oh my god, so watered down! I wish I had some chocolate chunks to plop in there. ;)
I forgot the name of this place, which is sad beacuse it was probably one word. It's on 23rd Street off 3rd Ave, I think. Anyone know what I'm talking about? They have wine..and "ambiance" according to their awning.

-40C with the wind chill. Hopefully we get out of this deep freeze soon. On the bright side, at least it's supposed to be sunny!
Started the weekend with an early morning trip to the mountains to buy flowers and succulents. Also, for good hot chocolate which was ideal for the cold, foggy morning. 🌲🌷🗻☁️
This time it's a vanilla based cupcake flavour with hot chocolate creme filling, hot chocolate buttercream (IMBC) topped with a homemade marshmallow. Big hit with the kids.
My younger son put together this evening cocoa for himself and really liked the result -- both how it looked and how it tasted.
He asked for a photo, and of course I was happy to oblige.
