It was bitterly cold today and the school heating hasn't been turned on yet, so I was feeling rather chilled by the time I came home for lunch. I couldn't even begin to contemplate a cold sandwich or salad, so went for one of the posh pot noodle type things followed by a wispa hot chocolate. Mmmmm.

Kraft Foods has launched its new single-​serve format for the Cadbury Highlights range and Cadbury Hot Chocolate Instant. The range, which makes a move from sachets to sticks, includes Cadbury Highlights Milk Chocolate, Cadbury Highlights Fudge and Cadbury Highlights Bournville.
This 'hot chocolate deluxe' was drunk with a very sweet and treacly flap jack. There is also mini marshmallows and chocolate buttons on top of the fresh cream. Not sure the additional small biscuit was really needed. Sugar overload.
It was 20 degrees when I woke this AM - and I'm from the Southeast United States where we like our humidity and our unfrozen pipes.
I don't think I needed this much whipped cream, but who's worried about need this early in the month?
A lovely lunch with Annabel and Hugo, hastily arranged this morning to stop me having to spend the whole day with just Eli, which I fear would result in either insanity or destruction of one of us. The focus to the day was just what we needed, and amazingly Eli quite happily spent an hour in TK Maxx beforehand.
