CJ was so blessed this year to get Mr. Fish for 3rd grade. He is an amazing teacher that is really big on teaching the kids life lessons along with what they learn in the books. Part of his emphasis is on responsibility and making kids accountable for doing homework on their own, organizational skills and taking responsibility for their actions. Part of his approach includes these nightly reading slips, a weekly responsibility checklist and a weekly speaking activity. To say all of this has been good for CJ would be an understatement. These might seem like "little things" but in teaching the whole "picture" in life, they are HUGE. Thanks Mr. Fish!

As I was helping him with his homework, I though I could take this as a chance to do a little homework myself.
