Funny stories about this one:
1. Being that these are mostly my magazines, of course we have a ton of back issues of Sports Illustrated, so we managed to work in "punter" for a photo of Neil Rackers. Why? Because we felt like it.
2. Notice the odd shape of the "paw prints" cutout. Well, Danielle had originally intended for it to be a circle. But she pasted it onto the construction paper before I had a chance to approve it. I had to cut off the left side of the circle because to the left of the paw prints was a JACK KNIFE. What kind of magazines is my mom bringing home from the waiting room at her office?!
Part of Danielle's kindergarten homework today was to track down pictures of things that began with the letter P. Since I was home sick, I picked her up before A-Plus and helped her with the assignment before my mom got home from work. When Mom's not there to mediate, Danielle and I tend to get a little creative with our options. (Best viewed large.)

Snapped a picture of the piece of homework I was doing for German class tomorrow because it reminds me of all the homework we do as diabetics. We log numbers daily, we count carbs, we take our medication and insulin, and we take 'tests' every few months. Diabetes is certainly more work than uni!

My 7 year old - Riley - is in the 2nd grade. He is struggling with math and focus and all those things you need to make any school work fun.
I found one of his Kelsey counters by his homework today...sending him(self) positive thoughts.
The secret for a great weekend is doing your homework on Friday, right when you get home ^^ I made Enid's life a bit easier and got her some cookies and tea :)
