I blogged about this old homework assignment (compare/contrast two therapy theories) while studying for my licensure exams. blogged on www.turningturning.com.

Anastasia in the middle of doing some homework at the kitchen table. (the halloween place mats were such a hit they've asked to keep them on for a while, so I do.) The button necklace is from Horatio's Button Day that the kindergarten celebrated a couple of weeks ago. I made him that, a shirt with a big H, and a braclet that looks like a watch.

My little boy doing his homework! The lighting was so nice I just had to grab the camera. Reminded me of a Norman Rockwell moment!

Goodness I am behind on pictures. I have taken pictures every day, but have been so busy I haven't had a chance to post them.

This was from Wednesday (6-30). I was running errands all day, and then played soccer for almost 4 hours. We got done playing around 9:00pm, and after I was dead. I was at Elliot's house, and collapsed on his bed with no energy, but hadn't taken a picture yet. He was sitting at his desk doing homework, and so I just laid there and took pictures for a few minutes. I'm not the biggest fan of this, but I don't hate it, so there's that.

Don't forget to check out my blog!

Showing her great grandpa who turned 99 her math homework, so glad she was able to spend some time with him! He is the best grandpa I could have asked for as a little girl and my little girl gets a little glimpse into my childhood!

Oooh Homework. You wouldn't believe the homework my son has and he is in first grade! It's okay... it's a good thing. My son and daughter are in a really good charter school so I'm happy that they are getting a good education. It's just hard some days to get it all done. Especially my 5th grader whose homework is harder than I can do sometimes! (MATH!)

PS - My son couldn't get the concept of ignorning the camera that I had set on timer, LOL.

Over a decade ago, my church joined with 2 other congregations to form Homework Central, an after-school tutoring program for at risk elementary school students. Once a year they hold a fundraiser silent auction to supplement their shoestring budget.

And this about sums up how I'm feeling at the moment. I've been staring at my paper that my teacher has told me to rewrite for about 4 hours now. Someone please tell me why I feel the need to "better" myself through education. I'm starting to forget...

* Sorry.. should have mentioned this earlier.. it's not my photo and I found it on google... thought it was funny and wanted to share :P *

the boy and i have just finished a homework assignment worthy of any viking saga, it had it all...tears, blood, guts, tears, sweat and more tears...and he found it hard too!

anyone commenting on spelling mistakes or grammatical errors will be summarily put to the sword...or axe...or hammer or whatever...i am hanging in there for the school holidays and at least a little bit of respite from this...aaaargh

i enticed him to work by promising him we would make a website (the icing on the cake so to speak)...his eyes lit up and he beavered away like a, well...beaver. Along the way we made this rune stone, of which he is extremely proud, and which produced from griffin what i think is the quote of the year:

"you know dad, doing the website is not the icing on the cake...making the rune stone is the icing on the cake...the website is getting to lick the spoon!"

and just when you are about to kill them...

I was doing my homework when my camera started to call my name!

We have five homework sessions per week.

For the first time in a handful of semesters, I ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT!

If it wasn't for health insurance reasons, I really should have just taken last semester off, I neither cared nor showed up, but am always willing to abuse the system until it gets better.

I spent all day in bed, reading my marketing book... and watching Celebrity Rehab... and the Food Network... and some Lifetime movie that had Emma from Degrassi in it.

BUT I GOT MY ASSIGNMENT DONE ON TIME! Luckily I have a few days cushion between what's due for my other classes and then it'll be my birthday and nothing else will matter.

Another O'Reilly book, and topic, to tackle.

Carissa and I gave each other photographic homework assignments. My task was to photograph one item three different ways. This is my Kindle, lit entirely by computers in all three photos.
