All I do is put some nonfat vanilla yogurt and some frozen fruit (plus agave nectar if I feel like it) in the food processor and it turns into frozen yogurt. I need to get some dark leafy greens to add in. I loved making berry smoothies with spinach added.
So far eating salad, vegetables, some homemade crock pot chicken, and this yogurt/fruit blend I've lost 6 pounds this week. And here I thought getting back on the diet/exercise wagon would be slow and difficult. Results!
When I got home from a little shopping, it seemed as though Christian had done a little shopping himself. After watching a "Good Eats" episode on popcorn, Christian decided to go out and purchase everything we needed to make our own batch. We actually popped the popcorn in this bowl. With just peanut oil and sea salt. WOW. GOOD. No need for a microwave anymore.

The boys flew to California. They HAD to take the boogie boards on the plane. What's a trip to the beach without your boards? So, of course 2 days before they left, I HAPPILY made boogie board bags. Living in AZ, there is not exactly a million stores around that sell travel bags for boogie boards. We made a trip to the local overstock fabric place and found some CAMO canvas for only $3/yard! OUTSTANDING! I lined it with some brown canvas (which was probably overkill) and used some heavy duty velcro and strapping, made a towel pocket for the outside and VOILA! Quick and sturdy bags. Perfect and cheap, my favorite.
The very first thing I made in my first ever food processor.

Was doing allot of research on a homemade bong ideas, and wasn't too enthusiastic about making a coconut bong. Then, as the story goes, I went home and when I passed by the closet where I keep stuff from my past hobbies, inspiration hit. This has to be the most excellent bong I've ever had, and to top it off, I smoked the most excellent weed I've ever smoked out of it. The weed is called jillybean, a mostly indica. it took away all of my anxiety even as it rocked my world. And I will say that I am very lucky indeed to be open to the marijuana, I would be lost without it.

KÃ¥re suggested we try making lasagna. So, of course, we picked the recipe that would take 3+ hours.
We cheated a bit with the sauce cooking time, but it came out good, yup.
I'd had the homemade potato chips page in Jam It Pickle It Cure It bookmarked for ages. Then Minty made some last week and I knew I couldn't wait much longer to make our own.
I used Yukon Gold potatoes sliced around 1/16". Next time I'll make them a little thicker and try harder to get them exactly the same width the whole way across. (My mandolin skills are not perfect) We sprinkled a little kosher salt and a teeny bit of our smoked habaneros on. I don't think there will be any left for tomorrow.
Davide is ethnically Italian; born & raised in Switzerland. He made us his mom's homemade pizzas for dinner -- five of them -- and they were all delicious!
You (and everything that has fallen out of you) are the best thing to ever happen to me! Love, T.
Thinking for the graphic I'll draw a unicorn whacking a pinata that looks like her with kids raining down. And a rainbow with Skittles, because everyone loves Skittles. A shark with butterfly wings would be cool, but might make the message somewhat confusing.
