I did some cooking over the weekend that turned out really well.
Basic recipe: 4 cups vodka, 3 cups sugar, 2 cups fruit. Put the sugar and vodka into a pan. Heat, but do not boil, the vodka until the sugar dissolves. Add the fruit. Continue at heat (still not allowing it to boil) for a couple of hours, and let cool to room temperature. Strain through a fine mesh into a bottle.
The 4:3 is to taste. Some people prefer 1:1 or 3:2. Try different ratios and see what you like.
I also did a triple berry mixture this way the next day.
ingredients: flour, egg, curry powder, red chilli, spring onion, onion, ham, coriander, celery, corn.
Broccoli shiitake carrot tofu in a Thai red curry over a quinoa millet buckwheat blend, topped with sweet yellow cherry tomatoes just picked from our vine.
Was over at Teena's for Knödelfest 2010, an afternoon and evening of wonderfully awful movies and delicious dumplings. Must learn how to cook these at my place as they were most amazing!
Delicious and surprisingly hearty. Just heat some chicken broth, throw in some garlic (used leftover roasted garlic), baby spinach. Meanwhile fry an egg. To assemble, put a slice of baguette in the soup and top with egg.
Broiled Atlantic salmon topped with blistered Blush Torpedo tomatoes, market-fresh lima beans in basil butter, sliced heirloom tomato with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

My recipe is a little different from the one I saw online. I used 1 cup low sodium chicken stock, 1/2 cup tri-color quinoa, cooked for about 12 minutes until done. In a separate pan I sautéed 1/2 cup onion. Then added it to the quinoa. Then I added 1 tablespoon of parsley because I forgot sage at the grocery store! I also added one cup of uncooked spinach and tossed it with the cooked quinoa. This all happens while 2 cups of butternut squash, sprinkled with some olive oil, salt and pepper, are roasting in the oven. In 25-30 minutes, you will remove the cooked butternut squash and mash it all up with the quinoa, onions spinach and parsley. You can also add chopped walnuts and 2 wedges of Laughing Cow cheese as the recipe asks for, but I did not add it to mine.
Good quality pork sausages, batter, goose fat and a hot oven. The Be-Ro home cookery booklet never fails!
