A Pontifical High Mass was offered by Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke on Saturday the 2nd September at The Immaculate Heart of Mary church in Balornock, Glasgow, Scotland at the request of Una Voce Scotland.
This is my first attempt to shoot a real model from my lighting class. The model - Tez - is really helpful and really know what to do - without us telling her much. This setup is a high key setup, 2 lights lighting the background, softbox from her right, reflector on her left.

Knoxville High School (which is now labelled as Historic Knoxville High) operated from 1910 to 1951. The building was built in a Neoclassical Revival architectural style. In 1994, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Emory Place Historic District.
Since the school closed, it has served many years as administrative offices for the school district. However, it has also been vacant for many years. Fortunately, preservationists are helping to redevelop the property while restoring it back to original condition.

The former Milwaukee Road high bridge over the Des Moines River was stripped by Union Pacific for use on their new Kate Shelley High Bridge near Boone, IA. The bridge has been recently redecked and opened this spring as part of the High Trestle Trail. The structure is lit at night and is quite spectacular. The official opening date is April 30th.
Grounds and parking area were redone Summer of 2005 ...
School is now the Lindenhurst Middle School (grades 6-8) which at one time was the Lindenhurst Junior / Senior High School for grades 7-12 on a spilt session ... high school students attended in the morning and the junior high school students attended in the afternoon.
One of my favourite drinking spots in Leeds, especially in Summer. The Dry Dock! I believe the original planned location for The Dry Dock was Clarence Dock, but permission for that to go ahead was withdrawn or some other plan fell through and instead it resides on a roundabout opposite Leeds Metropolitan uni. One of the more characterful locations for a boozer!

OK, I'll admit to a hint of post processing with this shot. All I did was a pretty heavy crop to help bring the image way out of focus and then applied some fake tilt shift to make it worse. After that I worked the corners and sides with some vignetting and mixed in a bit of film affect. Oh yeah, I messed with contrast, added a rounded frame and probably one or two other things but that's all, not much really. Practically SOOC.
Ha, whatever... I was just having fun with it so sue me.
The aftermath. The lady on the adjacent table said, "There seems to be much more drinking than knitting going on here, my knitting group are never this lively!". And so say all of us.
SFAMSC High School Night 2018
High School Night is one of the most anticipated activities of junior high school students. It is a venue to help students prepare for young adulthood by bringing all of them together to practice proper social graces and decorum in a formal setting. The intensive preparation for the biggest highlight of High School Night: the Grand Cotillion Dance also teach the participating students discipline, hard work, and cooperation for they all need to work together to make it successful. Finally here is where the grade 10 junior high school students formally pass their responsibility as leaders of high school to the next upcoming seniors. High School Night is a coming of age event that signals to its participants that they are no longer little children but young responsible adults.
