Dipa Karmakar (born 9 August 1993, Agartala) is an Indian artistic gymnast who won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, becoming the first Indian woman Gymnast to do so in the history of the games.

Week 14 is "high Key". I shot my model which I found in our curio cabinet against a white collapsible reflector using my studio strobes. Strobist info; snooted alien Bees B400 camera right @ 45/45 as the key light, & Alien Bees B800 for background 2 stops over. Edits in Lightroom 3 & CS5

Was testing some light for high key portraits.

Used one large softbox from right side not directly aimed at model to catch soft light from edges and made sure bottem of softbox was slightly below chin height and top of softbox above head height. Was shot outside so had cloudy sunlight as fill from left. Behind model is a tree which should be slightly visible, but isnt due to increased contrast with upload to flickr I think.
