Dead Fast Ghoulia!
She arrived today and I am sooooo in love. She is so amazing! I didn't realized that she comes with a small action figure in blister pack - that's so cool!

The landscape around us this weekend was just beautiful. The wheat fields had just been lightly covered with a dusting of snow, which really made the patterns stand out against the bleak sky.

High School Night is a coming of age event that has two goals: first help students prepare for young adulthood by bringing all of them together to practice the proper social graces and decorum in a formal setting. Second, here is when grade ten students formally pass their responsibility as leaders of junior high to the next generation of grade ten leaders.

This is my fifth Ever After High doll, Briar Beauty, daughter of Sleeping Beauty. She's one of my holiday gifts, gifted to me by my sister via her eBay. She's such a sweetheart. She's actually younger than me, yet she's the one who keeps giving me gifts. :P
Anyways, overall, I love the way she looks. I love the color used on her. It's very similar to Barbie's signature color (Barbie pink, Pantone 219 C) which, to me, is great because I'm very fond of that shade of pink. The dress is great and I love how they shaped the skirt to look like a tulip or rosebud. I love the overall rose and thorns theme (I myself am very fond of roses in real life). And the accessories are just fabulous! From the earrings, the sunglasses, the ring, the bag and the stockings, down to the gorgeous necklace/shoulderpad piece on her neck. Just fabulous! I wish her bracelet looked more like a watch though, but it's still pretty cute as it is.
I didn't like the texture of her hair very much. It's very course, frizzy and brittle to the touch. But it's very easy to shape and it looks a lot thicker than the other dolls' hair.
And, oh, I am SO glad she has perfect eyes! I was feeling a bit discouraged because my recent purchases have all been dolls with wonky eye paint (Apple, Raven, I'm looking at you). I'm just so glad I got lucky on this one.
I'm still expecting two more packages. One will show up by maybe next week.

The parish church of St.Leonard stands high above the Cinque Port of Hythe and Romney Marsh. The English Channel can be glimpsed beyond. Its origins date back to the 11th century. After being damaged in an Earth tremor, the tower was rebuilt in 1750.
