A hexagonal steel ring, size 7. This ring was made by grinding out a standard hardware store steel hex nut to size.
The ring weighs 0.8 oz (23 g), and measures just under an inch (0.94 in, 24 mm) across the facets and just over a half inch (0.54 in, 14 mm) in width.

I used template I cut from construction paper. I wanted large hexagons so these are 4 inches from flat side to the opposite flat side and about 3.5 inches from point to point. I discovered they are just a bit too big to use charm squares, so I cut some squares from stash fabric.
