This is 6 months worth of hand pieced 1 inch paper pieced hexagons. I also have quite a few 1/2 inch sized, and some 2 inches. I like this size the best.

St Giles, Tydd St Giles, Cambridgeshire
From the wind and rain whipping across the bleak churchyard at Newton-in-the-Isle, it was a relief to get back into the warmth of the car. We headed on through narrow, doglegging lanes to the larger village of Tydd St Giles. Another sprawl of bungalows and abandoned farm buildings, another gloomy Fen village in the rain.
The church is kept locked, and as far as I am aware there is no keyholder notice, but I had made arrangements beforehand to borrow a key. The church is strikingly similar to West Walton, a couple of miles off on the Norfolk side of the river. A huge Early English church with a separate bell tower beside it in the same style (also at Elm, attached to the west, and at Leverington with a spire on it). The interior is wide and open, the late Norman arcades with their stiffleaf capitals stretching to the east wall where the vanished chancel has been replaced by a blank arch and a small Decorated window. This must have been a simply enormous church once. The font here is also hexagonal, and features green men on two of the faces. As at Newton-in-the-Isle, apart from the font all the interest is in the architecture - there is none of the delicate beauty of the furnishings at West Walton, and on such a gloomy day it felt a sad place. The aisle and clerestory windows are large and mainly full of clear glass, so perhaps on a sunny day it might lift the spirits more. Outside, the bell tower sits to the south-east as at West Walton. Two of the sides have been bricked up with what looks like 18th Century red brick, which was rather charming.
And the rain fell steadily, increasing. I took the key back and then we headed across the county line, passing through the sister village of Tydd St Mary which lies on the Lincolnshire side of the border.

My husband picked up the Hexagon Construction Set to use in conjunction with the original Necromunda terrain and asked me to take some photos to show how they can work together.
At the Squire's Gate end of Blackpool, The bank down to the beach is covered with these concrete hexagons.
I may have finished these last month because I thought the deadline was early May! I was going to make a couple of the purple-and-turquoise ones for me, but I got kind of burnt out on crochet.
Hexagon from A4 copy paper.
A variation of ? model originally discovered by Mawelucky.
I added triangular twists on flaps at the center.
Now I need to keep this until Christmas.
Easter is a difficult period : anyone ever tried to tessellate rabbits and eggs ?
