Hope the queen doesn't hear about this.

This looks horrible to me and I don't know why. It also uses too many cups. Please help!

I wrote this today. This is not a rant. This post is very long. If you have the patience I think you will like it. If you don't... I understand. I do this shit for me anyway. There will be swearing. Not to much, but a little.

The ballad of Light and Darkness... Written By open your eyes.

A man, an anonymous man, found himself deep, deep, deep in a hole. He had no idea how he had gotten there. He woke up and he was in a hole. There was no obvious way out. He tried climbing the sides… no luck. He could not jump high enough. There was nothing in the hole that would help him get out.

The anonymous man, consumed by his powerlessness, started yelling, hoping someone would hear and help him out of the deep, deep, deep hole of darkness he had found himself in. He yelled and he yelled. When he thought he had no voice he yelled some more.

When he he could yell no more, he blinked, a head could be seen in the light, at the top of the hole. Until that moment he did not know there was light. But there it was. He wanted that light, more than anything. But That light was out of his grasp.

The man, with the head, said he was a doctor and could help him find the light. He doctored and he doctored. No amount of doctorin got the man out of the hole. The doctor got tired and went home to his doctor family.

More yelling… more hopelessness and then another head pops out. This head told the anonymous man that he was a therapist. Therapists knew a lot and could help people out of holes, into the light. He therapized and he therapized until he had no more therapy in him. The anonymous man was still stuck in the darkness. The therapist got tired and went home to his therapist family.

More yelling… more hopelessness and then another head. Could this be the answer? Maybe this talking head had the answer. This feller was a preacherman. We all know that the preacherman help people out of the darkness and into the light every blessed day. He told the anonymous man all he had to do was listen. He would fix his problem and the only thing that would be left, when he was done, was sweet, sweet light. The preacherman prayed, danced, yelled. The preacherman mixed in a little fire and brimstone and petitioned to God to save this anonymous man. NOTHIN! The only thing that happened was that the preacherman told the anonymous man it must be his damn fault, his moral character, was why he was stuck in the hole. Frustrated and tired the preacherman went home to his preacherman family.

The anonymous man found that his hopelessness was unbearable. He did what he always did. There was no hope, only darkness. Some of us that have been in that hole know exactly what the anonymous man always did to get what he always got. Some may say it was insanity. But it was all the anonymous man could remember.

Heads would pop out of the darkness and try to save the anonymous man to no avail. Everyone failed. They all knew what the anonymous man should do except the anonymous man. They were all talking in a language that the anonymous man just could not understand no matter how hard he tried. He wanted to understand, he wanted to live in light but could not take that first step. The anonymous man finally stopped looking up and decided he would live in his darkness because it was comfortable and was all he deserved.

So much time passed that the anonymous man had no idea how long he lived in darkness, in that hole. Time passes fast and slow when you are in the dark. Time makes no sense when time is consumed by darkness. Time needs light to be effective. Hope had been given up a long time ago. The abyss was now familiar and the only home the anonymous man knew. The anonymous man lost all knowledge of light.

Sitting in the darkness, no hope, all alone, the anonymous man thought he might of heard a noise. HMM... It was not that familiar noise of someone offering their own solution to get him out of the hole. None of those solutions worked. Them thar people had good intentions but had no idea how to help the anonymous man out of his hole. They thought they knew better and judged the anonymous man for getting in the hole in the first place. They knew better than to jump in a hole of darkness. The anonymous man was doomed.

WTF… WAS THAT NOISE? This was a new noise. The anonymous man decided that he may want to look up. He tilted his head, it had been years since he looked up. He saw eyes peaking out of light.… He forgot there was light up at the top of his hole. Was this the eyes of a man or a women? What did these eyes want? They seemed kind. It really did not matter anymore. Talking heads were talking heads. The hole was his home.

The person in the light yelled down at the anonymous man in the hole… “For Fucks sake… What are you doing down in that hole”? The anonymous man was positive he had never heard that question before and before the anonymous man could think he heard himself yelling… “I don’t know, I woke up here in darkness and I can’t get out!!!! This is my home. I have tried everything. No one seems to be able to help.”

Then the anonymous man heard a commotion, lots of noise, then blackness for a moment, then the anonymous man was drowning in beautiful light. Light like he had never seen before. The hole had lit up. The anonymous man could see his surroundings. The anonymous man realized next to him there was a shuffling. There in the shadows a person stood up and dusted themselves off. The anonymous man could see a face, a kind face, a face full of empathy. The anonymous man was dazed and confused, having no idea what was happening. All this time no one had come in the hole to join him in the darkness. This was madness.

The anonymous man yelled at this new empathetic person… “WHAT ARE YOU DOING? NOW WE ARE BOTH STUCK IN THIS damn hole!!!!”

The empathetic person looked at him and said “Don’t worry I have been in this hole… I know this darkness. This was my darkness a long time ago. I have been looking for another living in this darkness. I know the way, the way out. I can help you help yourself out of this darkness and into your own personal light. It is your choice. “

Tears streaked the anonymous man’s face… What is happening he thought? Saying to the empathetic person… ”Really? I gave up hope so long ago. I thought I would be here in darkness all my days. Light was something I only remember in old stories. You seem to have brought the light with you?

“Naah… That is my light light. Now it is our light. Together we will find your light. Use my light till you have found your own personal light. My light is hope. Your light is life" the empathetic person responded.

"It is not as hard as it looks. It ain’t easy but it is simple. Do what I do, Put one foot in front of the other and take one step at a time.” Together, The anonymous man and the empathetic person climbed out of darkness.

As a light team these two traveled. They found countless others in the same holes of their own making, the same darkness. They thought at first, they were alone. But four eyes can see much better than two. Together, these two light beings, helped others find their personal light. More and more walked in light and these light beings spent the rest of their days helping others find their own light out of the darkness until everybody consumed by the darkness knew there was a way out, into the light, if they so choose.

To find light you have to choose. Everyone has advice to help you out of your darkness. You will find lots and lots of advice to find a way out from people that are stuck in their own darkness. These well-intentioned individuals believe they know what is best for you. They don’t… They may know what is best for them but not you. They may find their answers through their experiences and then believing they know what is best for you.. Their answers are most likely not your answer out of darkness unless they have had the same experiences you have that gotcha in the darkness in the first place. What works for one is not a blanket answer for all. We are all individuals.

Find someone with experience, experience with your particular form of darkness that now live in the light. They live in the light due to experience and their actions, not the actions or experience of others that have not been there. They know the way out because they have been in the same hole you are in. Advice is cheap with no power that can find true light. Experience, real knowledge is everything.

Thank you, peoples that have helped me, out of my darkness. I love this time of year. At Halloween we remember the darkness. We don’t live there anymore, we live in light. We have a new address. We laugh at the darkness. We stand hand in hand, and We look at the darkness without fear. We spit at the darkness… We say to the darkness never again…. NEVER AGAIN!!!! The monsters only have power when we give it to them. Face the fear and most of the time you are looking at yourself.

Help Burma Now!

Simon Billenness, The Buddhist Channel, Sept 26, 2007

As you no doubt have seen, Burma is making world headlines because of

the courageous protests of hundreds of thousands of monks and civilians

in at least 26 cities in Burma over the past few weeks. These are the

biggest protests against the abuses of the authoritarian regime in two

decades.

For those of us who care deeply about Burma, these are exhilarating times, but terrifying too. The military junta has threatened to take action if protests continue, and reports from inside Burma already indicate that the military is getting ready to flex its muscle and

begin attacks on protesters.

From the sidelines, the best that we can do is to keep the momentum of this movement alive. There is a real chance for change in Burma, but we need to keep the pressure on.

I know Burma might not be your issue, but today, please make it yours. There are several easy things you can do. If possible, do them right away.

Please extend your support by joining here and upload Red pics to create awareness

Hey guys I just wanted to know if anyone could help make or has a good M1 37mm anti tank gun design.

Thanks

This is a little help to those who like to know about the first steps of quilling. It's better to know about these basic shapes so that we can create a perfect and beautiful quilling design acording to our choices.Using your quilling tool you can roll a paper strip tightly. Then remove the rolled paper strip from the tool and allow it to uncoil.Place a little glue end of the paper strip and fit it's end to the coil. For getting quilling shapes as mentioned above, pinch the glued coils in to the each pattern using your index fingers and thumbs of both hands.Hope this is helpful!Happy quilling!

Okay, so I was playing around with my BrickArms today, and I noticed that my Bronze HSB is a deeper, richer tone of Bronze than my production Bronze, which looks a bit faded when compared. The picture isn't that good, but you can kinda tell the HSB is darker.

Also, does anyone know what version of Phaser that is?

Thanks!

Saviour is sadly too late for this ex Tysons of Caldbeck mini-coach, but any assistance in identifying it would be appreciated.

It sits atop a pile of scrap at Clay Flatts Auto Spares in Workington.

A plate on the internal steps reads "Kirkby" and the registration was GDZ934?, by the look of the first shot below;

Assistance may be required for the bus behind, however.

Former South Yorkshire Dennis Dominator NKU165X, latterly the Howgill Playbus, sits in the yard and would appear to have been "weighed in".

Let's hope not.

I was supposed to go to Montgomery for a couple of days, but after the job got cancelled I decided to go help my dad with his church's video system. We had a good time I think. We stopped at Barbie's and visited with her and the kids. Almost got talked into getting another kitten. Later on we headed to the mall and had dinner with Mom and Dad at Garfield's. Mom and dad got to look over the pictures from Mother's Day weekend. Later we stopped at Plan 9 and put together a skateboard deck for Clarissa. It's for her birthday which is on the 26th of July, but I figured it was better for her to have it now instead of at the end of summer. I'm a sucker huh?

If any of you have used the Help Forum before and wondered where it went, the powers that be decided that they could do better without it. First they said that it would remain as a read-only archive, but then they removed all links to it.

That is why a group was started called the Help Forum group to try to still help people as we used to do in the Help Forum. Some of the people who have been most helpful on the old forum have already joined this group.

So if you have a problem that you would like to discuss with your peers or ask their help about, rather than or before asking staff directly, you are welcome to join that group.

To go to the group, simply click on the logo in the thread below, or the link here;

There are times when you may need credit help. You can talk to organizations and companies that specialize in helping people with their credit problems. In some cases, debts can be refinanced for one monthly payment or forgiven which improves the overall credit score. This is sometimes the only resort for people that have credit problems.

what can I do to make this look better?? I am realizing now I should have taken the shot with lights off, but that is no longer an option. I have tried to tone down the highlight with paint brush but it still doesn't look quite right. It is an HDR image.
