A former Conrail unit is part of the helper locomotives pushing a coal train westbound on the NS Cleveland Line in Bedford, Ohio. The image was made from the Egbert Road bridge. (Scanned from a slide)
I need help, I had my dolls put away for a while and I decided to take some nice photos of them! THIS IS NOT NICE!! They have black spots all over their faces and it doesn't even go away with acetone!! Please help this is fucking annoying! Since I use the asian with yello cardigan as a main doll for my dollstagram it's super frustrating!! And the new fashionistas Lea is ruined.. Seriously I will kiss the living shit out of you if there's a way to remove it!
Whenever I'm in the backyard, Macey is not far behind me. Her favorite spot to sun herself is on the deck. While doing some fall clean-up, she helped by watching if I missed anything!! haha.

Burlington Northern X5816E rear helper set with three GE units, two U30Cs and one C30-7, cut in front of the caboose is on the main at Belmont, NE on June 3, 1979. The loaded coal train has almost stopped so that helpers on the rear can be cut off with the caboose so that helper set with the caboose can be backed over the west switch where the helpers will cut off the caboose and the helpers can then be moved into the siding. Once this is done the west switch will be lined for main and the caboose will be rolled back down to its train. Once the caboose is back on the train BNX5816W will be on its way to another meet at the next siding.
EMD muscle shoves on the hind-end of a southbound / eastbound oil train. As much as I used to loathe SD40-2's, I sure do appreciate seeing them today.

U758 with an SD70M-2 and SD40-2 on the rear help push another ore move into Green Bay and then onto Escanaba. Sure sounded nice going through downtown echoing off the buildings.

The North Western Road Car Company Limited is fading from the memory now, but from the 1920s to the 1970s it was one of the biggest and most famous bus companies in the North of England. Its bus services served a huge swathe of territory from Northwich in the West to the Peak District fringes of Sheffield in the East, and from Rochdale in the North to Matlock in the South.
Its end was brought about because many of its services, and almost all of its most profitable ones, were in the south of Greater Manchester and SELNEC wanted to control these - and was willing to buy the part of North Western that was in its area. What was left after that simply wasn't viable, so North Western's owner the National Bus Company split the remainder up between neighbours Trent, Crosville and Potteries.
In the 1930s, North Western was expanding fast helped by a modern fleet of Bristol saloon buses. They were designed for long journeys across the Cheshire Plain or the Derbyshire Peaks, so the coachwork by Eastern Coach Works of Lowestoft was comfortable - even sumptuous. So whether it was an express trip from Manchester to Blackpool or a short hop from Buxton to Hindlow, this was the scene that greeted you as you boarded one of the company's 1936 intake - deep cushioned seats, luggage rack and plenty of polished wood.
One tiny detail is the number on the front bulkhead - 1755. NWRCC never had a 1755, but in fact this is 755 - North Western gave its bus bodies separate numbers because it had a habit of swapping them around to keep the best bodies on the best chassis.
North Western is still fondly remembered today, decades after it disappeared, and there are several restored NWRCC buses at the Museum of Transport Greater Manchester. If you'd like to know more about the Museum of Transport and its collection of vintage buses, go to www.motgm.uk.

"the help" .... ... yesterday Baby Jesus was born, for those who are Christians this represents an immense act of God's love for his children ... and it is to that God-Man that we often resort to asking for help .... who among us ... has never needed help ...?! .....
I photographed people I had never met before, I thank them for their sympathy and availability: I met Antonio and his girlfriend, who came to Taormina to spend the last day together, the next day Antonio will leave to go very far, unfortunately leaving his beloved, to see her again who knows when ... I met the Japanese companion of my dear friend Cesare, who flew to the sky many years ago, I knew about his companion, but I had never met her before ... I photographed a sweet Chinese girl that I met on three different occasions, each time with a little more confidence….
these are just a few minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved (confused-blurred-imprecise-undecided) ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus made during the shooting phase, deliberately lengthening the exposure times, and not as an effect created later, in retrospect, in the post phase -production.

"the help"...."l'aiuto" ...ieri è nato Gesù Bambino, per chi è cristiano questo rappresenta un atto d’amore immenso di Dio per i suoi figli...ed è a quel Dio-Uomo che spesso ricorriamo chiedendo aiuto.... chi tra noi...non ha mai avuto bisogno di aiuto...?!.....
ho fotografato persone che non avevo mai incontrato prima, le ringrazio per la loro simpatia e disponibilità: ho incontrato Antonio e la sua ragazza, venuti a Taormina per trascorrere l'ultimo giorno insieme, il giorno successivo Antonio partirà per andare molto lontano, lasciando purtroppo la sua amata, per rivederla poi chissà quando….Ho conosciuto la compagna Giapponese del mio carissimo amico Cesare, volato in cielo tanti anni fa, sapevo di questa sua compagna, ma non l’avevo mai conosciuta prima…Ho fotografato una dolce ragazza Cinese che ho incontrato in tre occasioni diverse, ogni volta con un pizzico di confidenza in più….
sono queste solo alcune storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse (confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise)...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagni sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, allungando volutamente i tempi di esposizione, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.
