As you may have heard, Japan was destroyed by an 8.9 earthquake and tsunami.

I almost spent the whole day watching the news and checking the tweets on Twitter. I couldn't barely work because of this disaster. I wasn't gonna sit there and do nothing, so I decided do whatever I can, to help the situation in Japan.

Inspired by the movement created by James White and others like Hydro74 and PJ Tierney. I decided to make this print entitled: Wake from Death and Return To Life. It's a japanese expression "kishi kaisei" and it means "To come out of a desperate situation and make a complete return in one sudden burst." It's to honour the courage of the japanese people after such a montruous tragedy.

I already sent this 12 x18 in poster to my printer and this will be included into a set of two (2) posters for sale on my online store. I'll include also my Retro Montreal Poster as a gift for your sale.

I'll also put down the prices of what's left from the Montreal Meets Store and ALL the sales will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.

As a designer, it's the least I can do to help those you can't do anything right now and this whole disaster makes you feel very fortunate for what you have in your life. I hope my gesture will inspire you to do the same! Join me.

Thank you and let's help Japan! Peace!

Aoiro.

Love's a silver bullet that blows your world apart

I wanna be remembered as an outlaw honey

the boy who stole your heart

I wanna be the guy who wears the white hat

and rides across the plain I'm gonna be your enigmatic stranger

honey you are lookin' at your Shane

Yet another image of that lovely cowboy at Hatfield Farm. I couldn't help thinking of the song Cowboy Dreams by Jimmy Nail (a big fave of mine back in the day) as the words seemed so apt!. So here are just some of the lyrics. You can check out the rest here:

I will never ... (never? yes I am certain I can use that word) get tired of looking at Picasso's "expression".

Obviously that State Prison System had only the best equipment circa 1986.

Officer Smith was a prime example of efficiency, rocking his TANDY 1000SL and its Intel 8086 processor running at 8 MHz and 384k of RAM.

A big thanks goes out to all of you who

stick with us on this long daunting quest.

One step forward and two steps back !

Once this has been completed I'll

Right now, it's a bit crazy here.

The scooter & sidecar are still separated

so, the scooter was taken on a short run.

By short, a really short run as the brakes

have all seized up tighter than a county

jail house in the middle of a lockdown.

But, along with Mr Monkey we're

still plugging along inch by inch.

No Kinder Heart took these photo's of me when they saw me all dressed up for a photo shoot. I take no credit in these photos except that of a poor undeserving muse.

New Jersey was host to a wave of severe thunderstorms which rolled in from the Atlantic Ocean last night, producing flood conditions in isolated areas, damaging winds and lightning, and an over-all feeling of apocalyptic gloom and doom. Parts of the county in which I live received 6 inches of rain within a few hours, while others got nary a sprinkle. My town was hit hard - with downed trees and overflowing sewers, power outages, grizzled seniors building arks, etc. Beforehand, the temperatures were in the upper 90s, with the humidity pushing the index over 100. After, it was a balmy 85. I love the raw energy and power that these big storms conjure up, even when they do wreak havoc. Rain has a way of washing the entire world clean for a while, removing all of the stain and filth and muck of the soul....making the world seem new again, if only for a day.
