I'm wondering if anyone can offer some advice for successfully using (or NOT using) a polarizing filter under mid-day sun. Is this due to wide angle? With the sun over my right shoulder, can it be done??
You can see in this photo that the sky is horribly gradated and is WAY underexposed. If I overexpose, the sky is STILL gradated, and the water is blown out. I want to get the rich color of the polarized water, but the sky looks terrible!
This is one of the photos I took from a recent hike through the dunes of the Cape Cod National Seashore. It was a very bright day under mid-day sun.

My 'modeling sessions" generally last 4 or 5 hours. By the end, I'm often pretty tired.
I should be, since I'm doing the work of (1) makeup artist, (2) hair stylist, (3) staging and lighting director, (4) model, and (5) photographer.

Also, once at R Ws' house this real bad skater-kid with GAT™ Jeans had a grip of fireworks & was shooting them into on coming traffic. We were hiding behind this wall just ducking out behind it (sorta 1/2 hanging out with real cool real bad skater–kid who was waaay older than US). Back 2 it… The works were lit then put down a thin long pipe. We watched him fire it a few times into the traffic. Then we left. Maybe that's why Sports & Compositions & Schools - kinda Keep Kids (film) (1995) busy. It maybe helps 4 dem 2Stay out of trouble &/or get into trouble - Thus, have a story 2 tell. I helped inside Performance Works for the last part of the Winter Solstice Lantern Festival, selling hot chocolate, cookies, and watching the door to the Labyrinth. Near the very end of the night I got wander through the Candle Labyrinth myself and take a few pictures. It was a beautiful, meditative experience. I found the sound of my camera's shutter and mirror very annoying, interrupting the experience, so I didn't take many photos though I wanted to.
I'm thinking of investing in a high end, mirrorless, quiet, low light capable camera system before next year.
Often many adults nowadays have loans, but do they exist in your life? Do you think they helped you or rather regret taking on such a burden?

Personally, I treat them judiciously and am not going to take them unnecessarily. By the way, you can pay for my services as a photographer with a credit card without commission and please yourself and your loved ones. ☺️😉

Taken nearly 11 years ago, a sight no longer possible due to DB no longer operating 92's over the northern parts of the country, 92043 wheels 4S43 Davenrty-Mossend through Standish on a cold and frosty 23rd November 2013.
The colours of Autumn are well on show this day.
This train has spent spells being hauled by both DRS and DB (EWS). However I'm not sure if this was the time when DRS were hiring class 92's to haul their trains before their class 88's were delivered a few years later.
