Help me

I think I'm falling

In love again

When I get that crazy feeling

I know I'm in trouble again

I'm in trouble

'Cause you're a rambler and a gambler

And a sweet talking ladies man

And you love your lovin'

But not like you love your freedom

Help me

I think I'm falling

In love too fast

It's got me hoping for the future

And worrying about the past

'Cause I've seen some hot, hot blazes

Come down to smoke and ash

We love our lovin'

But not like we love our freedom

Whenever I'm in the backyard, Macey is not far behind me. Her favorite spot to sun herself is on the deck. While doing some fall clean-up, she helped by watching if I missed anything!! haha.

I'm currently deciding on my concept and theme for my Graduate and final collection for uni, and I'm completely torn! I have two initial ideas but thought I'd get some of your opinions on which would be the most interesting, as I have to work on this for the next year and create a full collection based on it. So all help would really be appreciated :)

1. Tomorrows Tribe: I would look into Africa, tribes and their culture. Studying how they use body art, painting of the body and scarification, to inspire my shapes, construction, embellishments and patterns. I'm still a little confused as to what I would look at to influence garment shapes and silhouette. Also gathering primary research, as I couldn't take a trip to the country so anyone know of any exhibitions/galleries in London that may have this stuff?

- I feel like this option would be a lot more diverse and different in terms of print and hand painting fabrics, manipulating fabrics and embellishment.

- Colour pallet mono with accents of warm browns and maybe hints of colour.

2. Walking the line: How art inspires fashion, using art work, shape, line, form and texture to inspire my garment shapes, prints and embellishment. I would be looking more at works that use shape, quite like Kandinsky, pop art or Pointillism.

- Shape and blocks of colour would play a huge part in this collection, and I thought of using hand painted prints onto fabrics to relate it to wearable art. making it more tactile and textured.

- Colour pallet would be muted, soft pastel like colours.

I'm so torn and don't know what to pick! I like both but I'm leaning more towards the Tribe theme but my lectures have suggested not to as I don;t have any way of getting primary research and visuals. Although I know there are some places in London but not enough. So have suggested to go with the Art theme, as it is a lot more accessible especially with the V&A but are also worried I might not get my hand on the right research for it. So any suggestions on new themes or how I could improve these and what I could do or loo at would help! A second opinion would be great!! :)

I'm just wondering if you guys think I should change anything here. Should I put something inside the gazebo? Or should I change the snow on the roof? Any tips/ ideas/ improvements would be appreciated.

HELP REQUIRED

By the spring of 1984 the pressure of a young family considerably curtailed my railway photography. Another aspect that also suffered was my record keeping of what I had actually taken and here is a case in point, a Agfacolour CT18 transparency of a Class 47 approaching Liverpool Street. The transparency mount has a date of February 1984 stamped on it so dating the shot to late 1983 or early 1984. The Class 47 has a Stratford “silver roof” and carries nameplates.

Any suggestions as to the identity of the Class 47 Gratefully received.

General consensus is this is 47579

I was grouting last night and looked up and Annie (with her new short do) was standing in the doorway with this green spatula (which I commandeered as the perfect tool to remove thin-set or grout from little crevices). This is the FIRST thing (other than twist-ties, for which she's queer) Annie has EVER bothered. She protected it all night -- never chewed it, just carried it -- and picked it up again this morning.

I interpreted Annie's behavior as her missing her mommy and it (together with a pep talk from my mother) prompted an epiphany. From now on, this overwhelmingly large remodeling project will NOT consume ALL my leisure time nor wear my body to the bone. I'm going to make Easter cookies, birthday cookies for my niece, start making gumpaste flowers -- I want to play, too!! -- and make time for my friends and family. If it takes a year to get all the work done, then so be it! I will just have to learn to cope with the chaos, which will certainly be easier than working myself to a frazzle!

I need your help, the other day I went to the woods to take some photos but ended up loosing my head. If any of you happen to find it, please let me know.

Thanks

If the help desk thinks your question is stupid, we will set you on fire

I had just returned from the neighborhood shops, only to find three strange cats in front of my home. As I drove up the driveway, I saw what looked like my Little Joey sitting outside and looking at me.

He was supposed to be indoors and at first I thought that he had slipped out through an open gate door.

It turned out that there was this young ginger cat also with a red collar, accompanied by a grey mackerel tabby and a young black kitten, who was hiding under the little tree on the right.

I have never seen this trio before and I knew they weren't my neighbor's cats. Someone had unkindly dumped them outside my home, leaving them to fend for themselves! 😥

Update: It later turned out that the ginger cat was trying to court and mate with a black female kitten under the small tree, but the grey tabby got to her first.

That ginger cat has since become my second cat, since Joey. 😻

It just became so tiresome. At first exploiting his depression helped get the business going. But He just took all the fun out of devouring worlds. Even surfing the spaceways seemed to bring him down.

So It is time for a new partner. This one already knows how to surf, and he is apparently really mellow and happy. It will be a good change of pace.

These were serious times. The city was out of control. Mayhem and senseless murder prevailed. This was no time to be making mistakes and there was no time to waste. They had to move fast. They would call for back up later.

Nervous that he might be being followed, Under Cover Police Detective Pedro Rodriquez takes a quick glance back over his shoulder as he quickly moves toward his rendezvous with his partner.

They were working on a hunch. A hunch they were silently praying was solid. They knew, if everything goes down as planned, they just might be able to capture a few of the assholes, or better yet, do what they could only fantasize about in their own private minds and kill them all right there on the spot just seconds before the next round of innocent killing began. They both also knew if their plan was flawed or the hunch tainted, two hours from now they could both be "resting" side by side, on icy cold aluminum gurneys. Naked. Stiff. Finished. Covered by white sheets in the sterile and silent downtown morgue waiting for the bus to eternity to arrive.
