This is my week of healthy snacks. Monday it was dates, today- popcorn.

In addition to being high in fiber, popcorn contains antioxidants. Also, popcorn is a whole grain, an important food group that may reduce the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension in humans.

The Macro Monday theme for 3/6 is snack. This possibility is a mix of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and a chunk of pineapple that had marinated in the juices! It was super satisfying..

My wife recently purchased some fruit at the grocery store. I set the grapes, banana, and an apple on the stove, and snapped a few pictures. #FlickrFriday #Fruit

These little treats are the energy balls I was making yesterday. They went pretty fast that I didn't have enough of them to use for my photo for today so I ended up making another batch. I rolled some in coconut to kind of give it a "finished" look. They taste pretty good.

I couldn't decide which photo to use for today so I have another version in the comments section below.

Last year our blueberry bushes did not produce ANY blueberries. This year, one of them is loaded with berries. It's still early, but I'm getting about 30 berries a day right now. It's enough for snacks or making blueberry pancakes, but I'll have to hit up the blueberry farm to have enough for muffins and pies. (That won't be for a week or two)

If we don't see a white shark while in the water, that's GOOD. I still would love to actually see one of our summer resident great white sharks while safely high up on shore!

So whether to appease her spirit to ward off close encounters while in the water, or to give us a glimpse while we're on land, or just because it's FUN, we create this edible effigy.

Ey up sithe. Thes no faffing about wi them Yorkshire seagulls. Ave yer sin size o them? I were reet flummoxed, t'other day, it were reet parky an one swept down an took this bloke reet off o cliff top. Well I'd go to foot of our stairs I would, neer sin anything like it before lass.

Hello there. Those Yorkshire seagulls are somewhat surprising. Have you seen the size of them? The other day, it was rather cold and I was a little puzzled when one swooped down and removed this gentleman right from the cliff top. I can't tell you how surprised I was, I've never seen anything like it before.

Photo of the day March 03, 2022 - Peeled orange half my wife prepared to go with supper.

Raspberries I bought it from Costco .... went over there to buy some paper towels and apples. I spent more then I need it to... one of many reasons why I don't go there that often. Anyhow, my kids and wife loved it, I believe I had 3... go figure. Don't they have most vibrant red color!

Strobist Info: I placed my Nikon SB-600 on camera left front... I set the power at 1/2. I did compensated for the background though. I triggered it with Nikon CLS from my Fuji with my hand covered over onboard flash.
