I hope you all have a wonderful day! I am going on an adventure today, and will not be on until late tonight! See you all then!
Have a nice weekend my friends. I don't know Nancy Pelosi will visit Taiwan or not, we sincerely expect her coming. :-)
Mount Hehuan, also called Joy Mountain, is a 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the borders of Nantou and Hualien counties and is located within Taroko National Park. Hehuanshan is a popular destination in central Taiwan. The 3,421-metre east peak and 3,422-metre north peak of Hehuanshan are both higher than the main peak.
Mount Hehuan is part of the Central Mountain Range.

There have been some very heavy showers over the UK in the last few days and those conditions are ideal for photographing dramatic clouds. For this image, I stopped off at Common Lane in Bramcote, Nottingham, during my lunch break. I just hoped that there might be a break in the dark clouds to illuminate the oil seed field flowers in contrast with the ominous sky.
Have I said how much I like the eye detect in the R5?
Really not a good shot, just showing how fun it is shooting birds I would never get before.
Have fun while you shop until you drop.

Have i been,
Important for,
Anyone ... No!😢
Because it’s not easy,
For me either,
What you are going through,
And even,
I'm still here,
By your side,
to support you,
And above all I love you,
With all my love ...❤
I may not have all that these people have,
But at least I have a heart,
And often,
Too often this heart has been injured,😢
By people,
Who we prefer,
Pass on their pride,
Before the person,
Who is here,
for her ...
I've always been there,
But I wonder if it was important to you,
Where more the rest ....
There are things that hurt,
And yet God alone,
It's How much I love you ...
And I will always spend my love for you,
More than the rest ...😢
No one knows me so don't judge me 😢
Have a seat at the end of Clevedon Pier. My aim was to get the reflections in the window which I think I achieved .
I have mixed feelings about London. It's full of fun activities and great architecture but it's so full of people. Often scary people. I don't have the inner strength to cope for longer than a few hours really and this was one such time. While it was an overnight stay in a hotel, I ventured out only twice: once into the City and another over to Southwark.
A rare almost-sunset shot for me here, as I stared out at the window watching the lights slowly turn on against the lessening light. I focused in on the Shard as it's one of my favourite buildings. The lighter surface on the side? Beautiful.
We have already had a Tightrope Artist in this Wild Garden
and now I met a Blue Tit being busily performing on a vertical Bamboo Stick :-)

Having got a cloudy shot of "British India Line" previously at the usual place at Ais Gill I decided to try something different from the side of the road .While waiting for the train there was no hope of any sun then about two minutes before 35018 arrived the clouds parted and bingo I had cracked it but not in the main position. Two photographers at the line side have been removed in PS.
I have been spending some late afternoon, early evening time in a pretty secluded spot on the Lake - bugs of many kinds all over me - trying to locate the Pied-billed Grebe, and watching for any other activity. If one sits still enough, long enough, something is bound to happen…
These very young Wood Ducks ambled onshore and were completely oblivious to me, at least initially. The female with them stayed on the water in a supervisory capacity. Eventually a few of them noticed me, and I slowly brought up my camera while going from sitting to lying down, all in an effort not to spook them. The little photo bomber in the bottom right seemed full of beans, and they stayed for a couple of minutes, before re-entering the water.
There are often three or four sets of Wood Duck young on the water at this time of the year. I especially enjoyed the brief interaction with these ones as I had to misfortune to see a similarly-young duck caught by a Snapping Turtle a couple of weeks ago. Initially I didn’t understand the screaming and thrashing, but with binoculars I ended up figuring it out. It took a while to get that out of my head - I know predation is all around in natural settings, but that was a really unpleasant experience. These guys - who I know may suffer the same fate - cheered me up for the few minutes they were there.
Believed to have been built in 1401 the Old Smuggler’s Cafe, once known as ‘Old Ship Launch Inn’, lived up to it’s namesake.
In a time where smuggling was rife, due to heavy tax on goods and excise, smugglers would cross the quiet moors in the dead of night to haul their goods. They would pull a cart that was filled with kegs full of alcohol, at the end of the cart would be a lone keg with a quill in it. When the smugglers were unlucky enough to come across someone, to bribe their silence they would offer them a free sample, and then be on with their way. When the keg was at it’s destination the quill would be removed, and the keg sealed ready for use
...have traveled afar. Seen on an island in the Beagle Channel on a day cruise out of Ushuaia, Argentina. Taken in February 2015 on the day before sailing to Antarctica.
Processed for Sliders Sunday using Deep Dream Generator. (How to get rid of an ugly background.) HSS everyone!
Having found this frozen icicle I noticed that it was slowly melting. I waited patiently for the point when the ice was changing to water and dropping off the bottom of the icicle. It took many attempts until I finally caught the droplet in the optimum position.

I have in recent times been experimenting with a much 'looser' approach to my landscape photography, by going out and shooting images without a tripod. For this image I was lying on the ground to achieve a low angle. I wanted a low point of view so that I could photograph the daffodils, but to also include the local landmark of the clock tower from the University of Nottingham's Trent Building. Setting an aperture of f1.4 meant that I could focus on the flowers and throw the building nicely out of focus, yet still retain it as an instantly recognisable background and a crucial part of the whole composition.
I have had more Bushtits come to my feeders this winter than any winter since I've lived here. I'm hoping it's not because of a shortage of other foods. This female (you can tell from the yellow eye) is waiting for her turn at the suet feeder. I can count on having a flock coming through several times a day. They don't stay long, a few minutes at most.
I have watched the rivalry between these herons for a few weeks now. In this instance, the Black-crowned Night Heron was fishing from it's favorite rock minding it's own business. As I watched, the Great Blue Heron slowly crept out of the shadows, getting ready to pounce on the other heron. The Black-crowned must of heard the other coming and suddenly burst into fright flight.
