Handheld pano of 8 vertical slices each bracketed -2, 0, and +2ev. (one slice was blurry so total 23 raw images). Individual shots taken using Nikon D90 with Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 VC lens at 38mm, ISO200, F/9, 1/80s.
Stitched together using PTGUI with exposure fusion, then post processed with Capture NX2 to improve contrast.
I submitted this photo to Epson Panoawards 2012 and got Bronze!
Taken at Marwell Zoo yesterday, with the South East Gang. This is the moment that their leopard decided that it was fed up with all the attention and was going back to bed!

Two Harbors has two lights. The red brick lighthouse is now a B&B with an automated light. The automated harbor light is at the end of the breakwater.
In the not too distant past, our rabbits and we made a few little critters to drum up a little dough to pay for their pet cat’s mounting medical bills. Probably because we channeled a whole bunch of positive energy into them, they feel pretty good to look at.
Then we realized they feel pretty good to hold, too. Their asymmetrical shape is a bit anatomical—they seem to fall right into the crook of the hand. We soon noticed that our hands, when idle, went straight for one. Familiar like a well-worn blanket or other childhood treasure, they’re quite cuddly. Best of all, they don’t snore.
We make Binky Buddies feel good by employing cottons and felted wools. We make them hypo-allergenic and machine washable by stuffing them with fiberfill. That nothing can fall off or be chewed off a Binky Buddy makes them safe for all ages.
Healthy for both people and the environment we live in, they’re lovely gifts for anyone who needs a little comfort every now and then.
Walking along Hollywood Boulevard late at night, my son and I were startled to note this star for John Belushi. This star is one of over 2,000 stars on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. I shot the photo in the dark with only the street lights to illuminate it. It was a moment of great pause in our night out on the town there.

Side note: I believe I saw him play football when my high school went to Wheaton, IL to play Belushi's high school. It always takes me aback when someone close to my age has such a public life, with all the highs and lows. Not that long ago, a favorite author (who I met in Illinois years ago) killed himself, David Foster Wallace, and his loss, like Belushi, is something I think of more often than I would have supposed. With both Belushi and Wallace, you could sense their drive towards death, perhaps a death wish. No one else can alter such dark paths even though there is genius and success. I admired both of these men and wish life could have been more kind to them.
No tricks here...just a handheld camera and a macro lens. I don't have tubes, bellows, reversing ring or image stacking software. I haven't figured out how to get close to a dragonfly using a tripod...so it is just stick the camera out there and snap away.
Perhaps this year I may try something new for macro work. Perhaps not.
(Nikon D7200 is rumored for third quarter of '14. I don't need high ISO capability, nor ANY kind of video features. If the D7200 comes with higher MP sensor, or improved AF capabilities -- or perhaps another 1/2 volt in the battery pack for increased burst speed -- I would be interested. And it would seem to absolutely signal the demise of the Nikon DX 'pro' line of cameras.)

It was also the impetus to earn my Technician Class amateur radio license from the FCC--I had won it on eBay for $32 and wanted to be able to do more with it than just listen to it. What you can do with a 65x optical zoom Bridge Camera.

Der rückwärtig belichtete CMOS-Bildsensor der Canon PowerShot SX60 HS ist 1/2,3 Zoll groß und löst 15,9 Megapixel auf (4.608 x 3.456 Pixel) auf. Zwischen ISO 100 und ISO 3.200 lässt sich die Sensorempfindlichkeit einstellen, die Wahl ist dabei in ganzen oder in Drittelstufen möglich. Die Bilder und Videos werden von einem Digic-6-Bildprozessor verarbeitet. Dessen Integration sollte für eine schnelle Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit sowie eine gesteigerte Bildqualität bei höheren Sensorempfindlichkeiten sorgen.
Ebenso können der Makromodus mit 0cm Naheinstellgrenze und der manuelle Fokus mit Fokuslupe und Peakingunterstützung überzeugen.
Belichten kann die PowerShot SX60 HS zwischen 15 Sekunden und 1/2.000 Sekunde, die Belichtungskorrektur ist um plus bis minus drei Lichtwerte möglich.

Es wird immer eine gute Belichtung erreicht.

Verwacklungsfreie Bilder:

Quellwasser sieht dann auch wie Eis
Nachteil ISO geht bei wenig Licht in den Keller und das Foto wird grieselig.
A - Av: Aperture priority or 'Aperture value'
A = AV = Zeitautomatik, Du wählst die Blende vor und die Kamera steuert die dazu passende Verschlusszeit automatisch (Halbautomatik)
Ideal zum Freistellen und Bokeh, wenn f/1.8 etc. möglich.
oder für mehr Schärfentiefe bei f/8 oder kleinerer Blende.
M = Manuelle Einstellung, Du wählst die Blende und Verschlusszeit manuell. Die Kamera gibt Empfehlungen, passt aber nichts an.
(Man kann " MF save" einstellen, damit total falsche Belichtungen wie in P korrigiert werden.)
Gut für Experimente und wenn keine Schnappschüsse gewünscht werden.
Raw:

Deine SX60 speichert bei RAW die Belichtungszeit (Verschlußzeit), Blende und ISO.
Alle anderen Einstellungsoptionen wie Kontrast, Weißabgleich, Farbsättigung, digitale Schärfung usw. fallen beim Fotografieren mit RAW weg, weil diese Einstellungen erst später bei der Nachbearbeitung auf dem Blechotto (Konvertierung am PC) vorgenommen werden.
Nachteil:
Die vom Kamera-Bildprozessor im RAW-Format nicht durchgeführte Rauschunterdrückung und Perspektiven-korrektur.
Bei JPEG greifen automatisch in der Kamera integrierte Routinen, die Du nun nachträglich am PC mit Spezialprogrammen zeitintensiv nachholen mußt.

Die Fehler des fest eingebauten Objektivs kennt der Hersteller genau und kann durch ein korrigierendes Eingreifen der Kameraelektronik die meisten Abbildungsfehler des Objektivs bei verschiedenen Brennweiten und Blenden automatisch korrigieren.
Selbst bei 21 mm Weitwinkel ist nichts oval oder bauchig!

Mit maximal 8,3 Bildern pro Sekunde ist die Serienbildbildgeschwindigkeit hoch, diese Geschwindigkeit ist aber auf sechs Bilder in Folge begrenzt.
Sind diese erreicht, lassen sich allerdings weiterhin gute 6,2 Bilder pro Sekunde festhalten bis die Speicherkarte voll ist !!
Ps
Bei meinem Test waren 600 Bilder beim Start eines Rennlaufes mit AF-Verfolgung kein Problem!
Anders gesagt: Einmal clicken - 600 Fotos! in etwa eineinhalb Minuten.
