Of all the Roanoke Movie houses of my youth, I thought the Grandin had the most unique interior. Son is doing media at school so I took him out to shoot some lightning tonight and he pinched my tripod :). Hence the title for this as I messed around with 5 sec exposures off a fence post
My car was in the shop for a couple days - so I had a rental while it was being worked on. The smallest thing the rental place had was this HUGE Truck. I'm used to driving a Honda civic, and was really uncomfortable driving anything this big. And the gas milage! sheesh!

This bridge crosses a small stream that flows into Newmillerdam near Wakefield in West Yorkshire UK.
This photo is an handheld hdr with +-1ev on 3 shots, The Newmillerdam Country Park is a popular destination for walkers and ramblers.
Covering 237 acres of woodland and water, Newmillerdam Country Park was once part of an area known by the Norse name of Thurstonhaugh. The area became know as New Mylle on Dam when a new corn mill was built around 1285. The original mill was probably situated upstream near to the site of the Boathouse and was rebuilt several times during the period before 1633 when it was moved to the present location by Francis Nevile of Chevet Hall. At that time the dam to feed water wheel was increased in size. The cornmill seen today on the A61 was built in the 1820's
