Galeria Perdana is a museum displaying gifts and awards presented to former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahatir and his wife, Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali. Opened in 1995, it is set a little further down the road from the Langkawi Bird Paradise in Mukim Air Hangat, approximately 11km from Kuah.
Porcelain, crystal, silver, textile and copper pieces as well as weapons, plaques, musical instruments, Islamic art and paintings are all on display at the Galeria Perdana. Spread across 5,333sqm of beautifully landscaped gardens, the museum is housed in three interconnected two-storey, oriental-style buildings.
The gifts displayed here were presented to the former prime minister from world leaders, statesmen as well as Malaysians during his tenure as leader of Malaysia.

This bell is called El D. Nombre de Jesus ( The Most Sweet Name of Jesus ). It is dated in 1829 and cast by Benito de los Reyes. The bell's weight is 300 arrobas or 7500 lbs. It was only rung on very solemn occasions and in times of emergency. When the tower was demolished, it remained there until it was taken down and transferred to its present location in 1927. It now welcomes museum visitors at the antesala as one enters the museum beside the San Agustin church, Intramuros, Manila.

A familiar and widespread goose with a black head and neck, white chinstrap, light tan to cream breast and brown back. Has increased in urban and suburban areas in recent years; just a decade or two after people intentionally introduced or reintroduced “giant” Canada Geese to various areas, they are often considered pests.
Canada Geese are big waterbirds with a long neck, large body, large webbed feet, and wide, flat bill.
Color Pattern
Canada Geese have a black head with white cheeks and chinstrap, black neck, tan breast, and brown back.
Behavior
Canada Geese feed by dabbling in the water or grazing in fields and large lawns. They are often seen in flight moving in pairs or flocks; flocks often assume a V formation.
Habitat
Just about anywhere near lakes, rivers, ponds, or other small or large bodies of water, and in yards, park lawns, and farm fields.
