Embossed print embroidered with glass beads

This is the second interactive ATC I've made that features a finger puppet attached to the card. (The first was the ATC that had the panda finger puppet on it).

This card is made with 100% wool felt and cotton floss.

The unicorn puppet is my own design. It can stay on the card or it can be removed and played with...and then returned it its "home."

The entire card is hand-stitched/embroidered using either the blanket-stitch or straight stitch.

This card was traded through Swap-Bot on a Unicorn ATC Swap that I hosted. It was sent to Lucky12324 in Minnesota.

Hand embroidered a lovely poneranian with silk threads.

Click all sizes to see the details.

This ATC is made with a flannel chicken-print fabric (the background and the back). It also has an extra layer of the flannel on the inside. (So it's a nice, soft card.)

The chick is cut from orange and yellow cotton fabrics.

The chicken's body, wings, comb, and beak are all blanket-stitched. I also hand embroidered the eyes and legs. The card is blanket-stitched.

This ATC is the standard size (2 1/2" x 3 1/2"). It was traded with PeppermintChick on July 17, 2008.

I've attached all the pieces so far, added the red diamonds to the X, and finished the green squares of the checker board. It's looking pretty good so far! :)

I'm starting to make some more cards as my stock is dangerously low.

Hand embroidered, appliqued and hand quilted. Three dimensional flowers.

This is the first toy drop we did as part of The Toy Society. The point is to make a handmade toy for someone to find and take home. The maker expects nothing in return. It's just for the sake of doing something positive in the world.

When: Monday, January 16, 2012 - Martin Luther King Day

Other Comments: My daughters (Sophia and Olivia) and I were so excited to put the little teddy bear in one of carts for children to use.

We hope it will brighten a child's day and perhaps make a parent's trip around the store a little bit easier since it was about 4:15 p.m. when we dropped it off.

We checked back at 4:45 p.m. when we left the store, but the cart had not yet been taken. Perhaps it will be found tonight...maybe in the morning.

We hope the child who finds it enjoys naming the bear and taking it on journeys with her/him.

This is an ornament I made for a purple ornament swap on Swap-Bot.

I made another version of this ornament that's available in my shop (please see my Flickr profile for the link to my shop). That version has a yellow border (see the next picture).

The ornament is made from felt and hand-embroidered. There is a row of seed beads at the top of the ornament. All the edges are blanket-stitched together.

Obviously, she's here to stay.

My original plans didn't have the rocket in the design. After finishing the rest of the embroidery, I decided I should add the rocket. I came up with this design, and think it turned out alright. I'm not completley happy with it, as my satin stitch seems a little too loose in some areas, I am not sure I like how the exhaust/fuel looks, and I think the star might have looked better in the gold yellow instead of the pale yellow. I do like having the rocket as part of the overall design, though.

In the exhibition „Seemannsgarn“ Eliot will show new, hand-embroidered works, a combination of embroidery and styles, as well as his most recent prints, which relate to his appearance as a graffiti and comic artist. The artist draws article of daily use from his graffiti past like markers, paint rollers or spray cans and adds his embroidered pixels raster.

Got my little guy hooked on the Peanuts features! Thought I'd embroider him a 'classic snoopy' rather than a more modernized version.

This was something I made for personal use... do not copy... contact united media who owns copyrights to peanuts characters!

The heart is made from a merino wool sweater that I machine felted. It is very soft to the touch. The ornament is stuffed with wool from sheep that I raised. It is hand-embroidered with cotton embroidery floss.

Please see my Flickr profile for the link to my shop.

Here we have the new photos of my bags done by a great photographer friend. Over time he will be upgrading my photos for me! This is the Star of Inana / Star of Ishtar Hand embroidered with Silver metallic thread. This bag is big enough for a large sized Tarot Deck or Oracle Cards. People have also used these bags for jewellery, crystals, runes and more!

This is a wool felt matryoshka bookmark. The dolls are made from wool felt and hand embroidered using the blanket stitch. They are about 2 1/2" and 1 1/2" high. The little doll is connected to the big doll with embroidery floss so she doesn't get lost.

The purple ribbon is the part you put in the book to mark where you left off reading.

This was made for the "Russian Doll Bookmark" swap on Swap-Bot. It was sent to Cynthia (CandyGirl) in Virginia.
