Button is a vintage mother-of-pearl from my grandma's stash. Hand embroidery to echo the cotton print. Trim, white linen & blue cotton bought in Paris.

This is part of the whole 3 piece set I am giving to Kittykill for her gala. Here is the completed onesie (minus the earring I forgot and noticed this morning) Pattern available at www.urbanthreads.com.
I hand embroidered these little ornaments. I used french knots to create snowflakes. This is for an ornament swap.
I'm so happy I had some of this lovely print left ! I tried to embroider a little something that echoed a bit the print. I love this button too.

Floral fabric is Liberty of London, Tatum print.
Trim bought in Paris last year, and re-embroidered.
(old ?) Pink fabric has been re-embroidered too. (I loved making this !!)
Lining is a lovely acqua (or minty ?) gingham.
It's a gift for a friend but it inspired me to make more of these for the shop !
Custom order for my flicker pal! Hand crafted felt flower brooches. Each was created from hand cut felt pieces in different shapes, sizes, designs and colors. Each on has its own unique style. The colors were chosen based upon coordinating fabric yarn from the buyer. The idea is to combine these brooches with her great fabric purses and bags.
This pair of oranges was stitched with seven shades of orange, the left with french knots and the right with seed stitches.

This work is the tenth in a series of "Remnants", which were all inspired by very old, heavily patched and stitched textiles, (such as certain types of boro and utilitarian quilts) and the old, worn and weathered rural structures that surround where I live, (and where straight lines cease to exist.)
