I discovered my nice shiny Russell Hobbs toaster has a secondary purpose as this effect was created thanks to the design on the toasters front panel.
Having taken on only a "handfull" (no pun intended) of the assignments, I have enjoyed each one and I believe they have helped my photography skills a little.

Hand painted ice tea pitcher. In the early years of the 20th century there was a craze for porcelain painting as a hobby. The blanks were usually imported from France, mostly Limoges so the pieces have underglaze foreign markings. You could take a class at the local “Y” or follow instruction books with patterns.
The painting is done over the glaze and not very durable. If you buy or inherit this type of wear wash in mild soap and allow to air dry. Never put it in a dishwasher, this applies to most antique or vintage ceramics.
Often held a rosary. Asta fixed it up on the sly, saying when she does arrangements she always makes sure you can see Jesus.
Tag Along Dolly was created to solve a problem. I had a large TV and luggage to move from Florida to Virginia last year. I needed a hand truck to move the TV because I had to park about a block away from our destination in Virginia. All of this cargo would not fit inside my Chevy Equinox which already had a class II hitch receiver. So I welded an attachment to my hand truck and made the hitch mount. It worked great on a 2000 mile round trip. When I got back home I filed the patent and Tag Along Dolly was born!
Since we were already partnered with Granite Industries on two other inventions, they were the natural choice to bring this product to market. They already had a division, American Cart and Equipment, producing hand trucks. In October 2011 we joined forces to offer four versions of their hand trucks as Tag Along Dollys.
Granite Industries is a leading manufacturer of scaffolding and other related construction products. Their reputation for producing high quality products is well deserved. We are proud to be able to say that our commercial grade hand trucks are made in the USA!
Some of the fabulous things my Grandmother has made with Polymer Clay. I occasionally get goodie boxes filled with amazing things.....what I have is just the tip of the iceberg! LOL She is now 78 years old. My Mother has some of Grandmother's earlier work hoarded and won't share! : D You can see her work all throughout my photos...whether it is mushrooms, bugs, animals, birds and flowers in my Fairy woodland photos...or...buttons, charms and accents on my fiber art pieces.
