I took this of a gift card holder that I made.

This is what the card looks like when you pull on the ribbon. The top slides up and the bottom slides down. Pretty nifty!

This is the first in a series, a Hand, traced and then filled with tangles.

Photoshoot of my lovely wife :)

I found it on the table. It was damp and heavy and felt cold, and it was floppy when i picked it up. The fingers were a bit wet.

I wrapped it in newspaper and threw it in the bin. It's in there now, under the potato peelings.

Since I'm still experimenting and going to use the fabrics for patchwork, I didn't make each entire 1/4" yard cut one pattern. This way I would be able to try a lot of different patterns with a small amount of fabric! :)

I dyed these using the wax-resist method outlined in Color Your Cloth
