I mean, without any hand mods the hands look most slender?
right? is that an optical illusion? @_@
I have always been proud of my hands.
They aren't beautiful, they won't grace any glossy O.P.I. nail advertisements. But they work hard. They have helped raise buildings, they've hammered nails, they've held earthworms, they've fed my family, they've caressed babies to sleep, and they have created all kinds of art.
I look at them and I see scars and good memories, I see broken nails and my mother's hands, I see freckles and a diamond ring.
These hands aren't afraid of anything.
This is my hand, with Kim's artistry... my request from her during our time together in Calgary. Oh, how I loved my Buddha... A gorgeous hand by a gifted artist! Thanks again Kim!!

I ended 2008 by missing day 3 (or is it four) of my second 365 go. That's okay. I did nothing. I called a couple of people, talked to one, and experienced the transition into the new year with no special celebration or recognition. I spent the second half of the day yesterday focusing on what I have yet to come, which had exponentially gained mass with another curve and challenge to my forthcoming state of living.
I have no answers. I have my new mantra from yoga: "Peace amid change," which is already challenged and is being applied retroactively as well as in the present moment.
I have ambitions, a list of goals, a list of opportunities, not much of an income and an extremely passionate stubborn streak. I will find a way to continue doing everything important to me to get where it is that my sights are set.
Knocked down ten times, get up eleven.
I will be spectacular.
