1st one I got had a problem with one of the LED's not lighting from the box. I exchanged it for a new one.
Seems to work fine so far. havent used it enough to completly drain the battery yet but it has good range on the Halogen the LED's are more general find your way about light. Got a car 12v charger for the cigarette lighter socket and a UK plug wall plug charger. Havent used the car one as I think its borked in me car.

The solar ray collector is illuminated with a halogen lamp of known light intensity. The heat energy absorbed by the collector can be calculated from the volume flow and the difference in the water temperatures at the inlet and outlet of the absorber, if the inlet temperature stays almost constant by releasing energy to a reservoir.

A small 20W halogen lamp (HL) produces some ultraviolet rays, mostly long wave UV (UVA) type but also little medium wave UV (on borderline with LW UV), although powerful halogen lamps give off much more MW (UVB) UV rays. This filtered lamp will produce fluoresence with optical brightener solution. The halogen lamp is inside a box and switched on for only short time.
Apparently, I'm feeling a little Magritte-y today. Which is really not like me. It's not like me at all, in fact, to do little shout-outs to artists that I may or may not like. I mean, Magritte's all right, but yeah, this just isn't like me at all.
So, about this peanut. It came from Hooverville (1721 1st Ave. S), a bar in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle. We went there on Saturday for Dimo's birthday, an event that was joyous all around. They have peanuts there. And this peanut was all deformed. And Alyssa said, "You should take it and take pictures of it!" And so I did. So this, Alyssa, is for you. I do hope you like it.
Also, I had to withdraw $1,200 because I'm buying a car and the very thought terrifies me. Jesus Christ, I'm buying another car. "What if it's like the Blazer?" I ask myself, over and over again. "But this is a Volvo," my other half says. "It's a fine car that will be fine for a period of years. And that's all you need. Don't worry so much!"

This was lit with a halogen desk lamp, by the way. It was easier than getting the strobe(s) out and set up. I'm not a good little Strobist today at all. For shame. Also, this is not an HDR, it's just tonemapped in Photomatix. Also, while I was looking at the images, I noticed that my CMOS is totally filthy. Like, really, really filthy. It could really use a cleaning, but alas, I cannot afford it. Maybe when I get the check that should be wending its way toward me as I type. One hopes... one hopes.
